Both the 18th National Congress of CPC and the 3rd Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee put forward Strengthening Moral Education and Cultivating People.In order to put the requirements into practice,in 2014,the Ministry of Education published the Views on the Curriculum Reform to Develop the Fundamental Task of Implementing Strengthening Moral Education and Cultivating People,according to which the Ministry of Education would organize,research and propose the core Literacy System suitable for students of all stages.The Ministry of Education also made it clear that all the students should develop the necessary character and ability to adapt themselves to lifelong development and social development.In this new round of Curriculum Reform,all the teachers should change and renew their teaching ideas and adopt more effective methods.Therefore,the case-based teaching method,which is aimed at strengthening moral education and cultivating people in the course of teaching,is so important.It reflects the new era of educational philosophy and the dominant position of students;it fully shows the enthusiasm and initiative of learners;it also plays a huge role in cultivating learners to master the key ability and knowledge.But in our current exam oriented education environment,the traditional method of teaching and education idea still have a large impact on the teachers who are devoted to making the students master the textbook knowledge to improve test scores.The case teaching based on geography core literacy training is not widely used in the actual teaching.In this paper,I will survey the status of implementation of case teaching core literacy training combined with my own teaching practice,find the existing problems and put forward countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problem.This paper consists of eight parts.The first part is the foreword,including the content of the research background,research significance,research status,research methods and innovation.The second part is the definition of relevant concepts including literacy,core literacy and geographical core literacy.It also includes the concept of case and case-based teaching as well as their theoretical basis and the characteristics and functions of case-based teaching method.The third part is a brief account of the relationship between geographical core literacy and case-based teaching method.The fourth part is an analysis of the questions in the college entrance examination in the past two years,which can help us find the way and direction for the case-based teaching method.The fifth part is an analysis of the status of implementation of case-based teaching method in senior high school where the core of geographic literacy training is adopted.Besides,we'll analyze some main problems existing in the implementation through questionnaires.The sixth part is the summary and Reflection on the implementation of high school geography core literacy training based on case teaching.In this part,some suggestions on the cultivation of high school students' geographic literacy core are put forward from different aspects.The seventh part is the typical teaching case design.In the last part,the conclusion and Prospect of the article are given.
