With the government's increasing attention to preschool education,preschool education in our country gains a good opportunity of rapid development in speed and great improvement in quality.Kindergarten teachers is an important factor affecting the quality of preschool education.New teachers,at the starting point of teacher's career,is an important part of kindergarten teachers,and their career development directly affects the quality and level of preschool education.In the process of professional adaption,new kindergarten teachers are encountering various problems,such as the problems of professional psychology,professional skills,interpersonal relationship and working environment to different extent.Based on the above,this paper,by employing scientific empirical research,discusses whether significant differences on professional adaption occur among different types of newly-appointed kindergarten teachers,on the basis of knowing the overall characteristics of newly-appointed kindergarten teachers'professional adaption.It,besides,further explores whether social support affects the professional adaptation of newly-appointed teachers as well as how it affects.In this study,the author made a survey taking 294 teachers of 16 kindergartens in Xi'an as the research object,including157 new teachers.Through the method of test,the author investigated preschool teacher's professional adaptation and social support,in order to know the overall characteristics of newly-appointed kindergarten teachers'professional adaption and the differences on professional adaption of different types of newly-appointed kindergarten teachers.Based on this,the author,by making an interview on 10 newly-appointed kindergarten teachers,discusses the differences on professional adaption of different types of newly-appointed kindergarten teachers and analyzes the relationship between vocational adaptation and social support.Then,the author puts forward to some feasible suggestions on promoting the professional adaption ability of newly-appointed kindergarten teachers.The results show as follows:(1)The overall and each dimension scores of newly-appointed kindergarten teachers' professional adaption reach above 3.5 points on average;(2)There are some differences between the newly-appointed and experienced kindergarten teachers' vocational adaption,especially remarkably in the aspect of professional skills and professional interpersonal adaptability;(3)In terms with professional adaption,dramatic differences exist in profession,kindergarten system,kindergarten type,kindergarten area among different types of newly-appointed kindergarten teachers,but not in the aspects of age,education,marital status,government institution,and so on;(4)There are some differences between the newly-appointed and experienced kindergarten teachers in social support,the overall and each dimension scores of experienced kindergarten teachers' social support higher than newly-appointed;especially remarkably in the aspect of the overall support,the objective support and the subject support;(5)Significant differences are showed in the aspect of social support between newly-appointed teachers and experienced teachers in kindergarten about vocational adaption,the overall and each dimension scores of high social support remarkably higher than that with lower social support of the newly-appointed teachers in kindergarten;(6)The overall and each dimension scores of Newly-appointed kindergarten teachers' professional adaptation has positive correlation with the overall and each dimension of social support,besides professional skills with subject support,professional skills with use of support,professional interpersonal with use of support,the other all reached dramatic level;(7)Through the regression analysis,social support takes prediction effect on newly-appointed kindergarten teachers'professional adaptation in a certain degree,and the objective support can predict their professional adaptation better.Therefore,the following main conclusions can be drawn:(1)The professional adaption of newly-appointed kindergarten teachers is optimistic.However,compared with experienced teachers,these new teachers still need to gain great improvement in professional skills and professional interpersonal adaptation;(2)New teachers of different types of kindergartens has certain degree of difference in professional adaption;(3)The professional adaptation and social support of newly-appointed kindergarten teachers has positive correlation,and social support can predict their career to some extent.In the study,based on the survey results and depth interviews,the author come up with some suggestions accordingly from the perspectives of teachers,kindergarten and government.New teachers in the process of professional adaption should make self-adjustment at first and make full use of social support.Kindergarten should provide assistance for new teachers and provide them with more social support;The government should strengthen its support on the policy and system for newly-appointed kindergarten teachers and promote their professional adaptation.
