The research explores the situation of the middle school music teacher's professional development in Xi'an and puts forward specific strategies to promote level of teachers' professional development.The research makes surveys on the present situationthrough the questionnaire surveys and interview surveys.The surveys find the middle school music teachers in Xi'an has obtained certain achievement in the career development.The music teachers owe the music theories and skills completing the teaching task,and the professional ethics education got attention.At the same time,the teacher actively improves their professional ability,and the social identity helps to promote teachers,professional development.However,the research also finds some restricting factors are in the development of middle school music teachers.First,the ability of music teaching,classroom management,student management is difficult to competent for his job.Second,the treatment is difficult to provide strong support for the career development.Third,teachers' teaching ability development schools are lack.Fourth,it is lack of professional development for teachers initiativeand ignores the professional ethics to improve.Fifth,the teachers' professional development is difficult to get adequate social support resources.The research takes analysis of the cause of the middle school music teacher professional development present situation.The reasons include low investment,training with the school mechanism is imperfect,low training results,wrong concept of career development.Therefore,the research puts forward specific strategies to promote the development of music teachers from the school,teachers and society from.At the school level,first,it provides material support for the middle school music teacher professional development.Second,the implementation is based on the music teachers' professional development needs training activities.Third,it builds a complete system of music teacher professional development.Fourth,it improves the level of teachers' treatment.Fifth,it develops teachers' professional development planning.Sixth,it establishes professional development evaluation system.In the teachers' level,first,it conscientiously improves their professional moral standards.Second,the teachers get the professional develop in music teaching practice.Third,it enhances the motivation level of career development.At the social level,first,it is the formation of respect campus atmosphere.Second,it playsthe role of social education training organizations.Third,it supports for social enterprises and institutions.
