With the continuous development and progress of museums,the educational function of the museum has become increasingly prominent.As social education institutions,its object of education is the whole community,and middle school students,as the community's most object of education,naturally become the most important education group of important museum.According to historical museum-based features of the current Chinese museum,the relationship of mutual education,mutual complementation and mutual extension lies between museum education and middle school history education.There are abundant museum resources in Xi'an,but the degree of integration with the history education in secondary schools is not close.This article will discuss the museum resources and the use of the museum curriculum resources in the history teaching of middle school in Xi'an from three aspects,and put forward some corresponding opinions and suggestions.The first part will discuss the relationship between museum and middle school history education.Under the background of basic education curriculum reform and the fundamental task of "Strengthening Morality Education and Cultivating People",the combination of museum resources and middle school history education is imperative.According to the specific circumstances of the Xi'an area,the application of museum resources in the history education of secondary schools is not only necessary but also feasible.The second part will discuss the development of museum resources,the main types and geographical distribution in Xi'an to analyze of the characteristics of museum resources in Xi'an area.The conclusion is that the number of museums in Xi'an is wide and full of resources,but the combination with the history education in the past is not close at all.The third part will discuss the methods and ways of applying the museum resources of Xi'an area to the history education of middle school.On the basis of domestic and foreign museums in the history of secondary education in the application of experience,the use of museum resources in Xi'an has a unique condition.Above all,it is necessary to fully understand the importance of the application of museum resources in the history education of middle schools.Besides,it is necessary to establish long-term and effective cooperation mechanism between museum and middle school history education.What's more,making positive use of museum resources to develop school-based curriculum and making use of information technology more to combine museum resources with secondary school history education are of equal importance.The museum resources are an important part of the historical education resources of middle schools,which plays an extremely important role in the cultivation of students' humanities and accomplishment.Museum education and secondary education needs to reach a consensus and establish long-term and effective cooperation mechanism through various efforts to explore new channels of cooperation and methods.Thus,the further combination of the museum resources and the history education of middle schools can be reached,so that the educational significance of the museum resources in the history of secondary education can be reflected and developed.
