With the advent of "Internet +" era,the reform of the education and teaching has entered into a new field,which is based on the rise of teaching and learning methods in the network environment.According to CNNIC released the 38th "China Internet development statistics report",the Internet penetration rate has reached 51.7%and the scale of China's users have reached 118 million people until June 2016.MOOC courses have been widely concerned at home and abroad,and more learners have joined the MOOCs to learn.Relevant data statistics,the international mainstream platforms have more than 3000 MOOCs in the recent five years,which have been registered about more than 30 million times.Simultaneously,China's mainstream platforms have nearly 1000 MOOCs in recent four years,which have been registered 10 million times.MOOC is open and online,which can provide more chances for learners to enhance enthusiasm.However,it's undeniable that the quality of teaching and learning has been controversial.Post the MOOC era arrival that has rise and application of SPOC,by the favor and attention of learners.Due to it is short time for MOOC and the two learning effects haven't verified.Therefore,it is very important to explore and compare between them.In this study,the "Modern Educational Technology" course is taken as an example.MOOC and SPOC learners from February 29 to June 30,2016 are selected as the research object by combination mixed research methods of quantitative and qualitative to analyze and compare the cognitive,emotion,skills learning effects,and the difference of learning effects,in order to provide suggestions for MOOC and SPOC learners.Besides,it provides some theoretical support for MOOC and SPOC from the perspective of research.The study consists of three parts.The first part is the theoretical analysis module,including introduction,domestic and foreign research reviews,theoretical basis and related concepts defined,"Modern Educational Technology" curriculum and learning style analysis.The second part is the analysis of comparative modules,including analysis framework of learning effect and data collection,analysis and comparison of research results.The third part is the optimization of strategy module,including optimization of MOOC and SPOC learning strategies and recommendations.Part 1:The theoretical analysis module(1)Analyzing the research background,putting forward the research questions,clarifing the purpose and significance of the research,selectting the research object and analyzing the selection basis.This paper has introduced the methods used in the research,and constructed the structure.(2)Combing the domestic and foreign literatures about MOOC,SPOC,and the effect of network learning,which have summarized the current situation and research.(3)Explaining the theoretical basis of this study,defining the concept of MOOC,SPOC,learning effect and the effect of network learning.(4)The course of "Modern Educational Technology",which is supported by the research,is introduced and analyzed in detail from the following aspects.Including the general situation,the platform,the two learning methods of the MOOC and SPOC.Part ?:The analysis of comparative modules(1)Determining overall framework of the analysis of learning effect.It includes total and sub dimensions which are the cognitive,emotion,skills learning effects.The research tool is designed and developed,and the data processing tool is introduced.(2)According to the analysis framework,the following conclusions are drawn:?Cognitive learning effect:?.Cognitive dimension:MOOC learners' academic performance is lower than SPOC learners.?.Knowledge dimension:(Content knowledge)SPOC learners which understand,analyze,apply and evaluate higher cognitive goals higher than MOOC learners.(Module knowledge)SPOC learners have better knowledge of modules than MOOC learners.(Unit of knowledge)SPOC learners to master knowledge unit is better than that of MOOC learners.The basic theory is a poor module.?.Unit assignments have the highest correlation to both learning groups.?Emotional leaning effect:?.learning attitude:SPOC learners' cognitive and behavioral attitudes are higher than those of MOOC learners.MOOC learners' emotional attitudes are better than that of SPOC learners.?.Learning motivation:SPOC learners'surface and achievement motivation are higher than that of MOOC learners.MOOC learners' deep motivations are better than that of SPOC learners.?.Learning satisfaction:SPOC learners are more satisfied with teachers than MOOC learners.MOOC learners have higher satisfaction with SPOC learners than the curriculum and platform.IV.Learning attitude,learning motivation,learning satisfaction and achievement is positively correlated.?Skills learning effect:?.MOOC learners' skill learning effect is lower than SPOC learners.?.The SPOC of homework authenticity is lower than that of MOOC learners.?The learning situation:?.Participation rate(Total,sub-tasks):MOOC learners are lower than SPOC learners.Unit work submitted and peer assessment:the eight unit isn't optimistic.Classroom communication area:the basic theory and skills have a big difference.(Behavioral,cognitive participation):SPOC learners are higher than MOOC learners;(Emotional participation)MOOC learners are better than SPOC learners:?.Persistence rate:SPOC learners are higher than MOOC learners,which both are intermittent in middle and later studies.?.Compliance rate:SPOC learners are higher than MOOC learners.?.The degree of participation,adherence rate and compliance rate have showed that the degree of participation and adherence are positively correlated with academic achievement.Part ?:The optimization of strategy moduleThrough the analysis of the differences and reasons,some suggestions are given to the developer,the teacher and the learner.(1)Developers:to improve the online monitoring function,and promote effective teaching.Building virtual learning space and convenient resource sharing.To create resource push space,meet the learning needs of students and improve the learning module so that which help students learn quickly.(2)Teachers:to focus on teaching students learning progress and timely adjustment of course content.Besides,teachers should play a leading role to guide students to better learning and improve knowledge system and enrich learning content.Meanwhile,it is very impotant to organize a variety of interactive activities to improve participation.Teaching assistant teachers with curriculum schedule,which should timely feedback to students and improve the evaluation mechanism of diversification to ensure the effective implementation of the activities.(3)Learners:to enhanced network learning and develop good study habits are necessary.Improving the ability of independent learning,and achieving learning goals,which are in the daily.It is important to take full advantage of resources,strengthen exchanges and cooperation.Besides,every body should a reasonable arrangement for study time,timely attention to the progress of courses so that they can enrich the network learning skills and promote learning effect.
