The famous educationist Xu Teli ever said that the most primitive,basic and materialistic teaching material of all the history textbooks is the local history teaching material.Local teaching material,is related to the local history which contains all the things of the hometown.It reflects the unique culture and feature of our hometown so that the students are familiar with it and proud of.As a part of history,the local history plays a huge role in arousing the interest of study and developing the love of hometown and motherland.The curriculum reform is in full swing,and the teaching of local history is an important part of the new curriculum reform.To the teachers and the students,the application of local history resources in the history teaching can make them develop.Jiaozuo City,called as "Shanyang","Huai state",which has a long history and abundant history resource is one of the central areas of the Chinese activities early.The abundant history resource is a part of the precious local history curriculum resources and a superior condition of Jiaozuo.Throughout the domestic research on local education,there are many researches about other areas,but there are few researches on the local history teaching in Jiaozuo.Therefore,this article combined with the previous research conducts research on the application of local history resources of Jiaozuo in order to contribute to the local history of teaching.The paper is divided into four parts:in the introduction part,I introduce the reason,significance of this topic and research status.The research significance is discussed from four aspects:the students,teachers,new curriculum reform and regional development.In the first part,I mainly introduce the local history resources which contain text resources,physical resources,intangible resources and internet resources in Jiaozuo.The second part which summarizes the specific knowledge of Jiaozuo local resources in textbooks is the focus of the paper.Combined with the teaching practice,I analyze the methods of utilization of local history.The third part mainly suggests that some problems should be paid attention to in the application of the local history resources.In the third part,I give some suggestions on the application of local history resources from the two aspects of the first class and the second class from the aspects of the state,society,schools and teachers.All in all,this paper states the basic theory of local history teaching.I want to promote the progress of junior middle school history teaching through the collation and analysis of relevant information of local history teaching,finding a suitable method and some problems in the teaching process.
