In recent years,With the fast development of economy and science and technology in China,The fever of Chinese language has been pretty popular in the whole world.and it has attracted many foreigners' interest.Especially in Thailand,The Thai people are encouraged to study Chinese by folk or the government.Obviously,They has already knew the importance of Chinese language.However,some of Chinese teacher who teach Chinese to foreigners has not noticed the learner usually lack of the identity of the target culture after they get hold of the basic knowledge of Chinese.Therefore,it is a quite important question that how to make foreign learners identity with Chinese culture when they study Chinese.This thesis will contact the volunteer relationship of mine in Thailand with classroom teaching,analyze the reason from the three phenomenon of the learners who was lack of the identity of target cultures,and have a detailed studies on the culture identity,Finally,giving the useful suggestions on the basis of seen and heard and the experience of Chinese teaching of ten months in Thailand.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part presents the research background and significance,state the concepts in thesis and introduce the related research and development of the culture identity and give a short introduction of the current situation of the school which I taught.The second part lists the three representative phenomenon of Thai learners who lack of the culture identity,and analyze the reason according to the different community,stereotype and ethnocentric people,outlook on life,values,world outlook and teaching factors.The third part discusses the relationship between language,the communication of cross culture,multicultural background and the identity culture,thus,to prove the impact and importance of the identity culture in foreign Chinese teaching.The fourth part brings forward three practical teaching strategies of foreign Chinese teaching,Combined with some concepts of how to achieve the identity culture.The fifth part makes a comprehensive review,summaries the importance of the identity culture in teaching Chinese to foreigners,points out the shortcomings and deficiencies of this thesis,and also points out the direction of focus of future.
