In the next semester of the first grade of primary school,children learn further carry-in and abdication subtraction on the basis of mastering the numbers and simple addition and subtraction.The arithmetic behind the carry plus and the abdication subtraction is a decimal place value concept.Therefore,a deep understanding of the concept of bit values is the basis for enhancing the carry-plus-and-retreat-ability calculations.The current textbooks have not emphasized enough of the calculations behind the additions and withdrawals.A preliminary survey prior to the formal study found that under the teaching methods of existing textbooks,some students have difficulties in carrying out the place of addition and withdrawal.This study designed a formal interview program to conduct one-on-one interviews with first-year children to examine the current state of understanding of the concept of children's place values.The study found:1.Some children in the first grade have not fully grasped the concept of place value,and the understanding of the concept of place value is still at a low level.2.Intervene in the interview to embody the concept of place value,so that children can complete the task through hands-on operation,which can effectively enhance the children's understanding of the concept of place value.Study 2 based on the first study designed based on the concept of place value of carry plus,subtract from the introduction of subtraction,children through hands-on learning(mainly small stick)operation,so that children feel "full ten into one"," Borrow a ten" meaning.The introduction of the concept based on the concept of bit values is compared with the introduction of existing textbooks.The results show:1.Based on the introduction of the concept of place value compared to the introduction of the current teaching materials,it is more conducive to children's learning of carry plus,withdrawal and subtraction.2.The performance of the participants in the carry-plus-and-decrease-subtraction calculations was significantly correlated with the performance of the bit-valued concept test interviews.
