Pupils are at an important stage of physical and mental development.With the development of their physiology and psychology,they encounter various psychological troubles in their study,life,self-awareness,emotional adjustment and interpersonal communication.Therefore,mental health education in primary school plays a crucial role in children's growth.However,there is still no unified teaching material for mental health education in our country.Due to the fact that students in different regions have more or less differences,the mental health education courses conducted by the schools at this stage cannot meet the needs of students.This requires schools to develop school-specific mental health education school-based curriculum,which according to the characteristics of the students' development.The study of incorporating music into school-based programs in mental health education stems from the musical therapy inspired by school psychological counseling.As a psychology teacher,I found in daily teaching that music activities are one of the most popular and easily accepted psychological counseling methods for pupils.At the same time,the activities of music in cultivating pupils' interest,independent personality,cooperation and coordination,imagination,creativity and other aspects also played a positive role.Based on the characteristics of running P primary school,this study develops and designs a school-based mental health education based curriculum for grade three to grade five,named " Music and inspirational oxygen bar ".The course is implemented in school development programs.We evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the course and conduct a review and summary of the course development.This article is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which combs and defines the main content of the research,research status and concepts at home and abroad.The second part is about the reality of the development.It analyzes the background analysis of the school-based curriculum of mental health education based on music activities,the necessity and feasibility of curriculum development.The third part is the curriculum development,which clarifies and explains the course objectives,course content,teaching methods and course evaluation.The fourth part is the implementation and effect evaluation,which conducts the course implementation and evaluate the effect to verify the practical effect of curriculum development.The fifth part is rethinking,summarizing the innovation of curriculum development and rethinking its shortcomings.The sixth part is the conclusion,looking forward to the follow-up progress of the course,so as to provide valuable reference for the continuous improvement of the school-based curriculum.
