Land and labor are two elements of rural development,as well as,the main focus of rural reform.Guaranteeing the liquidity of the two kinds of production factors, that is the inevitable choice to make the reasonable configuration, full use, play a higher efficiency of them.Today,China is seeing rural labor moving from rural areas and agriculture to cities and non-agricultural industries on a large scale as well as farmland circulation, which is just a very good verification. It has been proved by theory and practice that the rural household non-agriculturization will increase the requirements of farmland circulation, especially the rural labor non-agriculturization;meanwhile promoting rural agricultural modernization has pointed out to walk this path of farmland circulation. Therefore, speaking with no exaggeration, the breach of the current rural development lies in the farmland circulation. In practice, however, with the diversification of farmers' employment, farmland circulation is much going on in the form of non-standard.Farmland resources cannot be effectively concentrated, farmland circulation goes behind rural household non-agriculturalization,which is bad for rural development. Therefore, this study will take the farmland circulation as the theme and the rural household non-agriculturization as the breakthrough point, and further study the influence of the rural household non-agriculturalization to farmland circulation, through theory and practice, based on the household survey in northern Jiangsu province. So that we can identify which factor of rural household non-agriculturization has a significant impact on farmer's decision of farmland circulation, how and how much the significant factor effects. As a result,we can provides the basis for actively guiding farmland circulation, realizing agricultural modernization and rural development. The existing researches more focuse on the rural household non-agriculturization and farmland circulation independently, less on the comprehensive study of the two.The study of the inner mechanism of them is least, mainly in a macro perspective and lack of systematicness and pertinence.Farmers,as a limited rational "economic man",their decision is the most satisfied choice of numerous constraints, rather than the absolute economic benefits,so motivation decides decisions. This study tries to construct a farmer family's "motivation-behavior" decision logic changing path, with a dynamic and microscopic perspective,as the theoretical analysis framework.Founding that the farmer family's produce motivation follows the rule of" survival to profit, and to quality" to replace by leaps. Its decision-making foundation gradually changes from the family division to social division. Its produce goal will has a differentiation of agricultural and non-agricultural,to ultimately achieve a high level of specialization.Farmland circulation decision includes two aspects:transfer direction and pattern.Transfer direction refers to the peasant household is transferred out,or transferred out or not participate in farmland circulation.Transfer pattern is refers to the concrete implementation way of farmland trading activities, including the trading subjects, scale, costs, form, etc.Farmland circulation is a result of the action of many macro and micro factors.Learning from basic theories and the existing researches, this study thinks the transfer pattern choice of rural household is more influenced by external factors(such as the negotiation of both parties, the rental market, transaction cost, etc.),While the transfer direction is mainly decided by farmer household's subjective factors. Therefore, this study construct a Logistic model of the degree, subject, space, and quality of rural household non-agriculturalization to the farmland circulation direction decision. To analyze the influence condition of rural household non-agriculturalization to farmland circulation direction decision(turn out, turn in,or not participate in). This study also summarizes the farmland circulation patterns created by rural household non-agriculturalization in the sample area. Finally we get six conclusions as following:(1)Labor completely non-agriculturalization has a significant impact on farmland circulation, while rural labor's Multiple occupation has an uncertain effect, and history of non-farm has a significant positive correlation with the transfer in behavior;(2)The male labor non-agriculture significantly promote farmland transfer out;(3)The farmland circulation is significantly influenced by the economic quality of rural household non-agriculturalization;(4)The rural household non-agriculturalization space has no significant impact on the farmland circulation;(5)the present farmland circulation patterns is mainly "favor" and "father" model, which is bad for agricultural modernization, there are four kinds of concrete patterns in the sample area:?"Contract after rent" model with the involvement of the village committee;?" Big farmers" model leading by rural households;? "favor" mode that farmer household commissions other families to farm in his absence;?"father" model that elderly farms in a stem family.(6)Now the non-agricultural rural household's decision-making motivation mainly is the economic pursuit of non-agricultural industries. The whole thesis contains about 51 000 words,37 pictures and charts.
