Yixian Video Technology Co., Ltd.(hereafter as Yixian) was found in 2010, is an entrepreneurial high-tech company which professionally design and manufacture uncooled infrared detectors and imaging cores. As a high-tech middle company, with the advanced technology but smaller size, Yixian have not fully resolved the issue of market development and profitability. Without enough money, how to stand out from competitors and keep sustained growth of development, Yixian must be in-depth researched from the view of the strategic management. Through systematical research, we can posit Yixian precisely in the current market, clear a strategic mission and goals, and make a scientific developing strategy, to provide a correct and effective reference for the company's development.Based on the theories about resource-based view and core competence, the current policies, military infrared industry, and market competition, etc. are analyzed in details. Through five forces model, the opportunities and threats of the Yixian are discussed. Meanwhile, the author research the resources and capabilities of the company, make a systematic study of the corporate strategic management capacity, technical capacity, production capacity, etc. The core competitiveness of Yixian is analyzed deeply, and conclude the company's current strengths and weaknesses. Using SWOT matrix's analysis, the author propose a strategic development plan and specific detailed measures.To conclude, Yixian should adopt the growth-oriented strategy, with torsion strategy as a supplement. Through further technological innovation, develop advantages of infrared detector technology and avoid homogeneous competition, to get the leading position in the industry with advanced and reliable products; Strengthen enterprise management, personnel training, production operations and quality management to lay the foundation; Increase marketing efforts, actively look for new market opportunities, to solve cash flow problems through product sales; Without losing control of the company, introduce new investment and financing to accelerate the development of company. Through a series of measures to achieve a balanced budget as soon as possible, Yixian will get a leading position in the domestic military and civilian markets and achieve 60 million yuan profit after six years.
