Analysis On The Investment Environment In Chongqing City

With the regional competition, each city take some measures to attract investment, get more resources, promoting the regional development. But the vital factor is the investment environment. The owners of capital in order to achieve capital appreciation also need to pay attention to the investment of regional investment environment. How to evaluate investment environment became more and more important.Firstly, we have to have roughly understanding about home and abroad study results on the evaluation of the investment environment and the investment environment. Than, it briefly introduces the current status of investment environment in Chongqing CityAccording to the domestic and foreign investment environment evaluation index system and evaluation methods, and the characteristics of Chongqing, Follow certain guidelines, we built the evaluation system. Contains three indexes, such as macro economic environment、the hard investment environment、 investment services. Then divided them into11two level indexes, such as economic benefit, economic structure and so on, finally select the relevant indexes.Using the method of principal component analysis, based on Chongqing’s2008-2012related index data, analyzing the investment environment. According to the result of SPSS analysis,2012, Chongqing got comprehensive score of1.13, which was two times than2011, shows that the investment environment is improving year by year. With that, the stakeholders have a more objective understanding of investment environment in Chongqing.Using the same method, compared the investment environment of Chongqing city with other cities we select. Through the analysis of the overall investment environment, Chongqing City, the total score-0.56, in the selected cities, ranked sixth, Beijing、Shanghai、Guangzhou occupy the top three. Than, to have a better understanding of investment environment in Chongqing, compared the one level index. Score of economic environment in Chongqing City is-0.82, the last one, even behind Chengdu the same in West; the hard investment environment got the score of0.29, ranking third in the cities, in a leading position. The traffic environment and environmental situation is respectively in the first and second position; investment support service environment score-0.12, ranked fourth, in the lower-middle position. According to the analysis method of specific indicators longitudinal analysis in Chongqing city in2012, the specific indexes are compared with the central government, non government first-tier cities, Chengdu.Finally, according to the results of the longitudinal, horizontal analysis, considering advantages and disadvantages of investment environment in Chongqing, put forward corresponding suggestions. In the future, hope that through the improvement of the investment environment, attract investment, promote the city’s economic development, improve people’s living standards.
