Entrepreneurial activities play a major role in promoting economic development and promotion of employment.The country supports entrepreneurial activities,and called “public entrepreneurship and innovation”,also carried out relevant policies to support starting new venture.However,in a high-growth market environment,as a new power,new venture also faces many challenges.It’s worthy for new venture to pay attention to how to survive or develop in the dynamic competitive environment,and this also caused the attention of the academia and the business on the factors which affect new venture’s success.In early time,most scholars regard personal characterisitic as the key factor which can influnce entrepreneurial success,but,it is hard to keep on entrepreneurial activities whitout social network which can realize resources and information sharing,can also create entrepreneurial opportunities,especially in China full of relationship,the importance of networking on entrepreneurial activities can not be ignored.As a relational tie,social network can provide network members with rich and heterogeneous information,resources and other external supports which can prompt entrepreneurs to identify and exploit feasible and profitable entrepreneurial opportunities,thereby enhance the success rate of entrepreneurial activity and performance.Moreover,there are many domestic and international researches on the relationship between entrepreneur’s social network and entrepreneurial performance,but the conclusions are not consistent,also the study on the relationship among entrepreneur’s social network,entrepreneurial opportunity recognition and entrepreneurial performance is less.This article will introduce entrepreneurial opportunity recognition to the research framework of social network and entrepreneurial performance,and also from the results of opportunity recognition,like entrepreneurial opportunity feasibility and profitability to research the mechanism of action of entrepreneurial opportunity recognition between social network and entrepreneurial performance,also hope that through the empirical research,corresponding conclusions can be drawn.In the basis of reviewing and summarizing literature,the concept of entrepreneur social network,entrepreneurial opportunity recognition and entrepreneurial performance in this article has been defined,and the theoretical model of these three has been constructed,and then put forward some corresponding assumptions.And there are 216 valid questionnaires from new ventures’ entrepreneurs,then using the stastistical analysis software SPSS23.0 to analyze the relationship for these three varibles,and the conclusions are as follows:(1)entrepreneur’s social network and entrepreneurial opportunity recognition have a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial performance;(2)entrepreneur’s social network has a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial opportunity recognition;(3)entrepreneurial opportunity recognition is a partial mediator between the relation of entrepreneur’s social network and entrepreneurial performance.
