Study On Evaluation And Selection Of Suppliers Under Supply Chain Management Environment

With the advent of economic globalization and market competition intensifying,operation and management of modern enterprise starts to change as well,more and more companies are using supply chain management mode.Supply chain management theory and application has become a hot spot in the study of scholars,and the most important choice for enterprise to enhance their market competitive force.Supplier evaluation and selection is one of the key contents of supply chain management,its quality directly determines the quality of enterprise products,and a suitable supplier plays an important role for enterprise's strengthening the core competition,optimizing the enterprise internal resources,reducing procurement costs,promoting a good image and so on.Therefore,how to evaluate and select suppliers scientifically and efficiently under supply chain management environment has become an important link of implementing supply chain management.The author investigated the X Company's supplier evaluation and selection methods and found that the current evaluation and selection system for X Company is difficult to conduct an overall,accurate,comprehensive grasp and understanding for the procurement suppliers.It's just the primary stage of evaluation and selection.Furthermore,the obvious subjectivity in X Company's existing supplier evaluation and selection system would have an effect on the evaluation results since its lack of objectivity would inevitably lead to an unworkable selection of suppliers,hindering the enterprises development.Therefore,this article fully inspected X company's supplier development status,taking the demand of company X for supplier evaluation and selection as the starting point,focused on the methods of X company's supplier evaluation and selection,and used a new multiple attributes decision-making method,G-T based on combinational weight determination.This method established a new kind of relative similarity degree by combining the Euclidean distance with grey correlation degree;the bigger relative similarity degree means the better plan.This paper standardizes the original matrix based on the combined weight in the process,makes the results more accurate and credible.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background,research meaning and research status on both in domestic and abroad,and then describes the concepts of supply chain and supply chain management as well as the characteristics and targets of supply chain management.Then it analyzes the importance of supplier evaluation and selection,their principles,steps and classification.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of supplier evaluation and selection of company X,delves into the existing problems.Then according to the building principle and procedure of index system,it constructs the supplier evaluation and selection index system from five aspects:procurement costs,quality level,date of delivery,operation ability,service and cooperation level,and makes a detailed description for each index.Then by setting up a primary evaluation index and using bidding method to for preliminary evaluation,it selects the candidate suppliers that meet the basic requirements of company X.After that,it calculates the index weight by utilizing AHP and entropy method to each candidate supplier and makes a comprehensive evaluation and selection for the candidate suppliers by combining the grey correlation analysis and TOPSIS method.Finally,this research selects Company X as an example to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the indicator system and the model.
