As the climate is getting warmer and warmer and the environment problem is increasingly serious,“carbon footprint” has become the focus of the whole world.The UN has token the carbon footprint as an appraisal standard of products.The UN also created a series of laws in order to implement policy of energy conservation and emissions reduction.Manufacturing industrial economy is the core of our economy,and manufacturing is one of the most serious industry carbon emissions while 70 percent of the world's environmental pollutants come from manufacturing.It is necessary to do some research on the low-carbon supply chain in manufacturing while the international situation is getting harder.It also meets the path of sustainable development of our country.With such international background and natural background,this paper has researched domestic manufacturing supply chain based on HL enterprise.(1)First of all,this paper analyses the research status of the carbon footprint and lowcarbon supply chain at home and abroad after reviewing some related literature.According to the analysis of this paper,it determined that the main content of this paper is the realization of lowcarbon supply chain management.Author has analysed supply chain's carbon source distribution and recognition based on the theory of supply chain.The supply chain carbon footprint acquisition modes have been divided into four types according to the analysis.They are active acquisition,passive submission,modelling calculation,and system extracted.Then the author summarized the method of calculating carbon footprint because data acquisition is based on the carbon footprint calculation.Then author raised new calculating method combined LCA and IO method in instrument supply chain.(2)Secondly,this paper come up with an innovative concept of “carbon-chain”.It also elaborated the definition and structure of carbon-chain.What's more,it concluded that the best way of reducing product's carbon footprint is the establishment of carbon-chain after comparing with supply chain.Take the instrument supply chain as research object,author establish the carbon footprint calculation model based on discriminant factor.It recommended that whether the activities should be included in carbon footprint calculation or not depends on its correlation with products.(3)After that,author applied the calculation model to DTZ545 electric meter in HL enterprise.It proved that the method is feasible according to the result,then the model is applied to other enterprises on the supply chain.DTZ545 electric meter's carbon-chain is build according to product carbon footprint data.Afterwards,the carbon-chain optimization is abstracted to mathematical problem which means finding shortest path in the graph.The Dijkstra algorithm which has been optimized is applied to solve the problem.It is significant to guide production while getting result of the lowest carbon footprint in the supply chain's production route.(4)Finally,Carbon Chain Management System is developed for the convenience of carbon footprint data management.The system is consisted of enterprise management,product management,evaluation management,system management.Each module is described in detail.This paper come up with an innovative concept of “carbon-chain”.It also builds a carbon footprint calculation model to support carbon-chain's data.The way of get product carbon footprint and how to apply product carbon footprint data to manufacture have been introduced in detail.It provides a new method for reducing the carbon footprint of supply chain.
