Under the background of global financial crisis,environmental crisis and energy crisis,Global Green New Deal and Green Economic Plan,G20 Summit make the issue of energy efficiency into the global vision.At present,the increasingly energy problems of China's overall lower level of energy efficiency and unreasonable energy consumption structure are becoming the biggest stumbling block for the green,sustainable development of Chinese economy.As a typical representative of Chinese urban agglomeration,The Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration economy that relies heavily on traditional energy and lower level of energy efficiency makes the contradiction between Energy supply and demand sharp,these problems have become important obstacles restricting sustainable development of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.On the basis of combing the connotation of energy efficiency,relevant research progress and the theory of regional spatial structure evolution,energy-economy-environment 3E system,the paper used SBM model considering undesirable output to conduct a comprehensive measurement for energy efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.It tried to find spatial-temporal differentiation features.Then,according to the influencing factors of energy efficiency,it provided reference for improving energy efficiency and realizing integrated,,sustainable development of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.Through the analyses of spatial-temporal differentiation and its influence factors of energy efficiency in Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,the main results of this research are following.First of all,compared with expected output DEA-C2R model,SBM model considering undesirable output accurately reflectes the actual situation of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration energy efficiency.Secondly,from the point of time characteristics,the overall energy efficiency for 26 cities of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is improving between 2005 and 2014,but its city diversity keeps the volatility rising trend.Meanwhile,from the point of spatial characteristics,the spatial distribution of energy efficiency presents polar nucleus type distribution pattern with the center of Shanghai and Suzhou in Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration in 2005 and 2008,However,it presents generally higher in the north,south and lower in the middle in 2011 and 2014,this fully demonstrates that the development pattern of energy efficiency is from single center to polycentric development in Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.The spatial distribution of average annual energy efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration initially is dominated by large area distribution of medium energy efficiency area,and lower energy efficiency area is in the southwest corner,higher energy efficiency area is in the east and south.Finally,the paper thinks,economic development and industrial structure play dominant roles in improving energy efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.However,the deepening per capita capital and opening up is not conducive to the improvement of energy efficiency in Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.Through these analyses,the dissertation gives five suggestions.Firstly,prosper and develop urban economy,and realize the improvement of energy efficiency through development.Secondly,adjust and optimize industrial structure,and improve energy efficiency through industrial transformation.Thirdly,upgrade foreign trade,and realize the improvement of energy efficiency through open up.Furthermore,solve the problem of low energy efficiency in the central area of urban agglomerations,and achieve efficiency through zoning.Finally,sound mechanism of urban agglomeration coordinated development and improve energy efficiency through synergism.The dissertation was divided into six parts.The first chapter was about the research background and significance,content and framework,methods and the uniqueness.The second chapter sorted out relevant definition,theory basis and research progress,put forward the research perspective of this paper.The third chapter mainly was on the basis of overall energy,economic and environmental situation in Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations,the paper used SBM model considering undesirable output to measures energy efficiency compared with expected output DEA-C2R model.The fourth chapter analysed spatial-temporal differentiation for energy efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.The next chapter tried to use Tobit model quantitative to find the direction and strength of the influence factors.The final part drew the conclusions,provided policy suggestions and led to further thought.
