Production process is an important part of the manufacturing industry.It refers to the production,which flows from raw materials to finished product output,through a certain continuous processing sequence.It also refers to the product from raw materials to finished products in the process of elements combination.Optimization of a production process is an important indicator of continuous production improvement.The optimization of production process can improve the production efficiency,reduce the waste,reduce the inventory,increase the production capacity and improve the adaptability to the market change.Enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the present situation of the production line process in detail according to the actual situation of the 2-steps spiral welded pipe production line of SLSP Co.,Ltd.And seek the optimized maximum production capacity.Based on the theory of production optimization and the simulation of production,this paper combined with the characteristics and actual situation of the pipe production line,and determined the main research contents of production process optimization.In the analysis of 2-step spiral welded pipe production line,the first step is to study the characteristics of such product lines and the technical process.In additional,this paper also state the personnel and equipment conditions,as well as the problems in the production.In the establishment of the simulation model,this paper respectively introduced the main work of the various production parts,according to the characteristics of the equipment,and selected different simulation modules to build the entire production system based on the simulation software Dosimis-3.In the analysis of the bottleneck problem,it finds the bottleneck position according to the data analysis of the simulation model,and find out the cause of the bottleneck,and made suggestions of the methods to solve the bottleneck.In the process of simulation optimization and analysis,the bottleneck in the system is optimized by changing the flow direction of the steel pipe and improving the skill and product qualification rate,and verified by the system re-operation.In addition,through the simulation system this paper analyzes the key operating rate in the system,and proposed a set of methods to optimize the operating rate.Finally,after a set of optimize methods,and through the system operating again,the optimal system production capacity was found.
