In recent years,with the improvement of life expectancy,the retirement age is low in China.Most of these older people are in good health,have a high level of technology,rich technical experience and management experience.So,the retirement age policy has resulted in the waste of human resources in China.In addition,Chinese pension gap is growing.Delay retirement is an effective way to alleviate this problem,but many people worry about delay retirement can make the employment situation more severe.In order to solve the above problems,the article studies that with the improvement of life expectancy,whether individuals will choose to delay retirement in order to realize maximize utility from the perspective of personal micro firstly.Then,the paper studies the effect of delayed retirement on labor market from the macro perspective of labor market.The Overlapping Generation Model are used for the first time.Finally,through the analysis,we find that delayed retirement has a crowding out effect on labor force.In order to explore the impact of delayed retirement on the economy and its impact on youth employment,the article goes through the empirical analysis.In addition,the article made a market survey.The object of study is the citizens of different regions,different industries and different ages.The survey shows that the vast majority of citizens are opposed to postponing retirement.This paper makes an investigation into the reasons for its opposition.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions.
