In the recent years, with the development of various countries, the aging has become a worldwide problem. Our country also entered an aging society in 1990, because our country has 1.3 billion population, the impact is very profound. Many countries have adopted the policy of delay retirement age to cope with the aging of the decline of the overall labor supply. Many domestic experts advocate to extend the retirement age in China, but others experts who oppose to delay retirement age policy believe that delay retirement is bound to cause that old people occupy the employment opportunities of working-age population, and then lead the employment rate of working-age population to decline, in order to solve this problems, it must be sure that whether delay retirement has real crowing out effect on the employment of working-age adults, namely whether it exists substitutional relationship between the elderly labor employment and the working-age labor employment.This paper consists of five parts. The first part, starting form the employment condition of population aging in our country, which lead the retirement policy to influence on the employment in our country, expounding the research background and significance which relating to delay retirement. Descript the research status about that the delay retirement impacts on working-age labor employment, and general overview the structure of the article content and the research method of the paper. The second part, on the aging performance of our country, detail the retirement age related policies and deciding factor. The third part, analyze our country’s current employment situation. Summing up the overall situation of the employment situation at present stage in our country, elaborate the mechanism of action of the retirement age for employment and economic growth. The fourth part, the employment of China can be divided into the three groups, the elderly group, the middle-age group, the youth group. Introducing the per capita GDP, GDP growth rate and labor participation rate, then using those variables to construct model, adopting the means of empirical analysis to determine whether there is a real crowding-out effect between the elderly labor force and working-age labor force, and giving relevant economic theory explanation to empirical results. The fifth part, make the conclusion of the model combine with the actual employment situation of the labor force of our country, put forward effective policy suggestions to the employment of our country.
