China is rich in agricultural products.However,due to the contradiction between decentralized production and socialization production of Chinese agriculture,agricultural products are often hard to buy and sell,which urgently requires a new type of modern market service system to deal with these problems.And e-commerce is low cost without limit of regions and time,so it is able to effectively make up for the shortcomings of traditional market.Therefore,the problems of the trades of agricultural products can be effectively solved by developing e-commerce.Good geographical environment and climatic condition are ideal for the growth of crops in Meijiang District,and the suburban special agricultural industry is also developing well.However,the problems,such as the decentralized production,unreasonable structures of both crops growth and production,excessive sales of agricultural products,for farmers the increase of production but not income,has gotten in the way of the rapid development of agriculture and the rural economy in Meijiang District.Developing e-commerce of agricultural products is the need to develop modern agriculture as well as to prosper the rural economy in Meijiang District.It is good for increasing the market competition of agricultural products and optimizing the industry structure.What's more,it's of strategic significance to promote both the rural modernization and the rapid rise of Meijiang District as the old revolutionary base.Based on the actual situation of agricultural production in Meijiang District,the essay applies the following methods,including questionnaires,information research,expert consultation and comprehensive analysis,to study the e-commerce development of agricultural products in Meijiang District.First of all,the essay gives a theoretical analysis on the concept and model of e-commerce,the definitions and elements of e-commerce of agricultural products.It puts forward the significance of developing e-commerce of agricultural products,and elaborates the status quo of the e-commerce development of agricultural products in China.Secondly,the essay analyzes the status quo of the e-commerce development of agricultural products in Meijiang District,searches for the main problems and reasons,and designs suitable e-commerce models for agricultural products in Meijiang District based on its local features,which are the third-party trade platform and the e-supermarket of agricultural products.Moreover,it presents the solutions to the e-commerce development of agricultural products in Meijiang District: raising people's awareness of e-commerce,increasing government support,strengthening network infrastructure,enhancing the standardization system of agricultural products,training and bringing in talented people of e-commerce,strengthening the logistics system of agricultural products,building and improving online payment system and etc.The essay aims at providing the referential operating model and theoretical support for better e-commerce development of agricultural products,and promoting the rapid development of both agriculture and rural economy in Meijiang District.
