Study On Environmental And Economic Benefits Of Comprehensive Utilization Of Agricultural Straw

The output of grain of China has been increasing since 1978.Correspondingly,the output of agricultural straw increases day by day.Although the proportion of straw treated as fertilizer and feed is increasing year by year,hundreds of millions of tons of stalks are ineffectively dealt with in China every year because of inappropriate disposal or incineration which seriously damages the ecological environment.Even in the straw processed,of which about 80% are used for extensive treatment,and the proportion of the fine handling of the number of straw is very small,which indirectly causes huge economic losses.In the trend of developing modern agriculture,it is necessary to study the integrated treatment of straw and its impact on the ecological environment and economic development.To solve the problem above,this paper firstly analyzed the latest domestic and abroad research and results of straw utilization by summarizing the theoretical and practical research on the treatment methods of agricultural straw resource,and summarized the development history,characteristics and application of agricultural eco-economic model.Then it describes the present situation of the number,types and regional distribution of straw in China,and analyzes the main treatment methods,the economic losses and environmental hazards caused by improper handling and the deep reasons behind it.Then,focusing on Zhejiang Guangcheng Biology Co.,Ltd.,the economic and ecological benefits of straw-dealing is analyzed following by setting up variables based on the company's working data,establishing specific eco-economic model.At last,it sets up different scenarios in which the eco-economic model calculates the company's future data to make predictions according to the analysis of possible future changes.After the analysis,it is found that the price of product and the scale of the producing have different forms of positive impact on profits,the price of cottonseed hull,labor cost,straw and other raw materials have various forms of negative impact on profits.Specifically,as the price of product increases,the profit shows U-shaped trend and the growth rate gets faster after the decline,which indicates obvious economic benefits.As the scale of producing expanded,the profit increases gradually which shows the concave curve growth trend,so it indicates obvious ecological benefits by dealing substantially increased number of agricultural straw.Cottonseed hull and labor costs are showing a nearly linear negative correlation with the profit,but labor costs have much more influence meaning a steeper graphic.Straw price has an irregular impact on profit because there are many "threshold" in the graphics.The graph shows an approximate linear when the price of straw is smaller than a certain threshold range,and it shows another graphic with a different slope when the price breaks the threshold which indicates that the impact of straw price on profit is the most complicated.These results show that the government should formulate the agricultural policies that are compatible with the ecological environment,provide the policy,technology and financial aids for the comprehensive utilization of agricultural straw,and actively promote the harmonious development of ecological economy.
