Along with the rapid development of world economy and the tide of economic globalization,huge changes had taken placed on the enterprise management environment.Higher the uncertainty of the market situation than before and more competitive happened.And the competition has been changed from enterprises into different supply chains.Today's shipping industry has the contradiction between capacity and really demand.To be alive in environment and increase the profit,shipping company must be managed with Supply Chain Management to maintain and enforce their core competitiveness.In such circumstances,the liner joint the right strategic alliance is an effective way to cope with the cold winter for most of shipping company.O3 Alliance provides their customers with 21 services,195 ships,101 ports calling each week,total 1.9 million TEU's capacity.The marketing share of Asia—Europe loop increased to 20% and Trans-Pacific loop's market share reached 13%.The whole competitive advantage formed by alliance.Continuous optimization of business process is another method to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.Business process optimization and reengineering is to meet the needs of enterprises' development and market.The existing process be reviewed and changed if need,rebuilding the organization structure,to improve operating efficiency.To enhance and smooth the process of releasing OBL,C** company reviewed and reengineered the whole process.The new method had carried on the process reengineering,greatly improved the customer satisfaction.For any enterprise,gain the competitive advantage either by reducing the cost or by improving the service quality.In shipping transportation industry,the room on cost cut get less than less,the only way is constantly enhance the level of service to create more surplus value for customers,improve service levels and customer satisfaction,to achieve a competitive advantage and continuously.Through customer's segmentation,calculating customer value,and according to the segmentation of customers to provide the corresponding services,C** Group knew their clients more,made more rapid response to the customer,and enhance the enterprise core competitiveness at the same time.
