The Impact Of Manufacturing Serviceability On Firm Performance

Although China is the world's manufacturing power,but the technical research and development lags behind,lack of strength in cutting-edge technology and innovation.So there is an urgent need for the theory means of reference to provide theoretical guidance for the practice of manufacturing servicizing.However,there is variable theories for the current manufacturing enterprises as to how to achieve servitization transformation and upgrading,how to measure the effectiveness of its upgrade.In terms of empirical research,a large number of existing domestic and foreign research results reflect that the relationship between the degree of Servitization and the performance is always inconsistent and puzzles the researchers,such as positive correlation,cross "S" trend,"U" trend,reversed "U"trend,although offering their own description and explanation on the causes of heterogeneity.In addition,the selection methods of the existing index(measurement of performance degree,the measurement of the enterprise servicizing),empirical research methods and sample selection(industry competition environment,enterprise size,scale of time and space,and enterprise development phase)are not consistent.There has not been a clear conclusion whether the variables will affect the relationship between the servicizing and performance.Therefore,this paper summarizes and screens all listed 1888 manufacturing enterprises and 10 subsectors from stock markets of Shanghai and Shenzhen,and unifiedly use the method of multiple regression method to find out the differences between the subsectors and the comparison with the general industry.Secondly,according to the 8 service items,I will study on the internal relations due to difference of regions,sectors,enterprise scale and preference of service items.This can eliminate the interference caused by different development stages of the countries,regional differences,research methods differences,to ensure consistency of research ideas.This article can provide a theoretical basis for industrial upgrading and industry interaction,and promote manufacturing service transformation practice,which has a strong practical significance.
