Research On Competitiveness Of Express Industry:An Application Of Dynamic Diamond Model

With the rapid development of electronic commerce in our country,as the main logistics realization approach of it,express industry has been becoming play a "black horse" role in China’s economic development.In the context of China’s "Internet +" and "One Belt One Road" policy,the cross-border logistics will push express industry towards the international market further,with the perspective of industry research analysis of the present situation of the express industry development in our country,the analysis on the formation mechanism and development trend of China’s express delivery industry competitiveness is beneficial to improve China’s express delivery industry competitiveness theory,it not also meets the need of the theoretical development,but also meets the requirement of the current development status.Based on the theory of diamond model,this paper introduced the method of global principal component analysis,and analyzed the competitiveness of China’s express industry from the perspective of dynamic diamond model.The first chapter is the introduction.By introducing the three main research contents of the expansion of the research level,the evolution of the diamond model and the empirical study on the competitiveness of the express industry,this paper illustrated the theoretical and practical research background and significance of the research.In addition,this chapter briefly reviewed the research status of diamond model and express industry involved in this study,and the research methods and technical routes were briefly introduced.The second chapter is about the basic concepts and related theories of this study.This chapter clarified the basic concepts of diamond model and express industry.At the same time,the paper summarized the four types of improved models of diamond model.Taking into account the current research and development status of express industry,the paper improved the dynamic diamond model with the "space-time dimension".The third chapter is competitiveness factor analysis of China’s express industry based on the diamond model.This paper made a qualitative analysis of the development of China’s express industry from the aspects of factors of production,demand factors,related and supporting industries,enterprise strategy and industry competition,policy and opportunity.The fourth chapter is the choice of empirical research methods and the construction of index system.On the basis of summing up the current research on the evaluation method of competitiveness,according to the theoretical needs of the dynamic diamond model,the temporal global principal component analysis method was selected as the empirical research method,andon the basis of the diamond model theory,this chapter constructed the competitiveness evaluation index system.The fifth chapter is the empirical study of express industry.The SPSS statistical software was used to study the formation mechanism of express industry competitiveness in 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2015.The results of the research were analyzed from three aspects:principal component,regional development structure and fluctuation trajectory.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and prospect of this study.It summarized the main research conclusion of this paper,and discussed the development direction of this research from two perspectives: the index system and the data perfection and the reason why the fluctuation trajectory was formed.
