Research On Conception Building Of Opportunity Set Of Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Of Electric Vehicle In China

Entrepreneurial ecosystem has become a topical academic research in recent years,but it's still in the initial research stage.Entrepreneurial ecosystem is currently the focus of the governments,its successful creation and development are closely related to entrepreneurship and employment,and related to the development of economy and society,it is the focused topic of both theory and practice.The current research on entrepreneurial ecosystem concentrated upon the concept,structure and operation mechanism,little upon opportunity,and creation opportunities are an important symbol of whether the entrepreneurial ecosystem is healthy or not,the study of opportunity set has great significance for understanding entrepreneurial ecosystem.Because of deterioration of the environment and the energy shortage,the development of electric vehicle has become one of the important topic of nations in recent years.China had already realized the environmental problems since "the eighth five-year project",and energy-saving and new energy vehicles is listed in the key projects during "the 11 th Five-Year project" of China.This article chooses electric vehicle as a case study which has great significance.This paper deeply analyzes the environment and actors of entrepreneurship ecosystem,based on which then summarized the formation and extension of the opportunity set.Through the analysis of the case,the main conclusions of this paper are as follows:1)the concept of opportunity set is summed up.The opportunity set is considered as a set of opportunities emerging from the opportunity exploitation behaviors under the interaction of multipal actors in entrepreneurial ecosystem.The opportunity set has three meanings:firstly,the opportunity set concept comes from the entrepreneurial ecosystem,it is the opportunity embodiment of entrepreneurship ecosystem;secondly,the formation of opportunity set based on resources;Thirdly,the opportunity exploitation behaviors under the interaction of multipal actors affects the dynamic changes of the opportunity set.2)the paper summarizes the two important dimensions of the opportunity set,which are diversity and dynamic.Diversity refers to the variety and diversity of types of opportunities,and dynamic refers to opportunity set changes with time.3)the paper summarizes the measurement methods of the opportunity set,on the one hand opportunity set can be measured from the type and number of opportunities,on theother hand,opportunity set can be measured through VC/PE.analysis found that the traditional industrial economic analysis tool:market concentration method is not suitable to measure the structure of entrepreneurial ecosystem,because the quantity of enterprise is small during the early stage of ecosystem,the competition between enterprises is the competition of ecological niche,and there are no successful business models,and using venture capital and private equity investment to measure of the value of opportunities are more accurate.
