The Research On The Relationship Between The Productivity And Enterprise Internationalization Of Equipment Manufacturing Industry

The equipment manufacturing industry is an important part of the manufacturing industry,It's development is conducive to improving the technical level of all sectors of the national economy and labor productivity,thereby enhancing national competitiveness.In the context of global economic integration,enterprise internationalization can not only enhance the competitiveness of enterprises in the industry,but also is the important guarantee for enterprises to achieve sustainable development in the complex and volatile economic environment.With China's reform and opening up gradually deepened,the forms that China's enterprises to enter the international market become more diversified.As the two important ways of internationalization:export and FDI,more and more companies are aware of the importance of these two ways.The existing theory points out that productivity plays a decisive role in the selection of export:Enterprises with higher productivity choose to export,and the enterprises with lower productivity choose to product and sales only in the domestic.The current policy formally put forward the "The Belt and Road " strategic concept,which provide a new opportunity for the Chinese enterprises "going out".As China's"going out" strategy of the important means and content,FDI plays an increasingly important role in the internationalization of enterprises.The study of the external behavior of Chinese enterprises can not only stay in the relationship between productivity and exports,we should do further analysis by adding the growing FDI into the enterprises' internationalization.Therefore,what are the factors that affect the choice between exports and FDI,what is the relationship between productivity and the choice of corporate internationalization path?These are the question that will be analyzed in this article.First of all,based on the study of relevant theories,this article introduces the concept of equipment manufacturing industry and classification,and then elaborates the concept of enterprise internationalization and the choice of enterprise internationalization.And from the perspective of the new trade theory,the two important theoretical model that illustrate the relationship between productivity and export and FDI:In the same industry,enterprises with highest productivity choose FDI,and the enterprises with higher productivity choose to export,while those with lowest productivity sale only in their own.Secondly,on the basis of getting a certain understanding on the basis of through the above study of the concept of internationalization of enterprises,firstly this part introduces the status quo of export and foreign direct investment of manufacturing enterprises in China,to further introduce China's special equipment manufacturing industry development status quo.Thirdly,the descriptive statistical analysis of the data of 30 listed companies in the special equipment manufacturing industry,The conclusion is as follows:Enterprises with higher productivity choose FDI,and the enterprises with lower productivity choose to export.The regression analysis of panel data by using the segmented industries in the special equipment manufacturing industry,the empirical results show that productivity as a variable did not pass the significance test,which indicated that productivity has no significant impact on exports and foreign direct investment.Finally,based on the conclusions of theoretical study and empirical test,this paper puts forward the relevant suggestions in the choose of internationalization of Chinese equipment manufacturing industry enterprises.First of all,the government should proceed to improve the integration of innovative resources and resources to optimize the allocation better,thus provide a fair competitive market environment for enterprise s and then to promote the enterprise in the efficiency of system and production.The existing theoretical results have showed that productivity and market size both play an important factor for the internationalization of enterprises,so China's equipment manufacturing industry should fully use its own specific advantage and choose the right way to enter the international market in the internationalization process.Enterprises themselves should increase the expense in training and investment on the its technology,this can enhance the enterprise's innovation and production efficiency and have a certain advantage when compete with similar enterprises in the world.And most of all,In the "area along the way" strategic policy environment,enterprises should balance all aspects of the comprehensive factors in the choice of internationalization.
