| The aims of this paper are to study export problems existing in the equipment manufacturing industry of Hebei province and find out the gap between our province and the international advanced countries’ level of the equipment manufacturing. In the development of the equipment manufacturing industry we can draw lessons from both foreign countries such as USA, Japan and China’s other regions, northeast old industrial base and so on. Additionally, to find out the adjustment countermeasures of export structure in the future in this area. As the first ten foreign trade province, Hebei province has a strong foreign trade business advantage and experience wealth resources. In the future, our province will determine to develop the six big working directions:shipping and marine engineering equipment, new energy power generation equipment, rail transport equipment, steel, coal mining equipment, environmental protection equipment and resources comprehensive utilization equipment. In addition, our province have determined32industrial areas at the provincial level like China’s electricity in Baoding, north China light motor city, major equipment export base in Qinhuangdao and Caofeidian new area. It is relying on the core of the Baoding Tianwei, Tangshan railway vehicle, Xuanhua engineering machinery and metallurgy steel rolling machine backbone enterprises which form10big equipment industry manufacturing base, to promote the industry scale of development. In recent years, foreign trade scale in the equipment manufacturing industry products is expanding constantly and its structure optimized, and our mechanical products’ competition are continuously strengthened in international market. Nowadays, with this economic and social development pattern, the equipment manufacturing industry is not only the backbone of the national economy but also the carrier and the bridge of high and new technology transfer into productivity. Therefore, its development can directly measure a country or a region’s competitive strength. For Hebei, a raw material production province, to develop equipment manufacturing industry can promote the products’ structure optimization and adjustment, and promote industrial upgrading which have more far-reaching meanings.We will take the combining methods including comparative research, empirical analysis and normative analysis method. In the following, this paper will be based upon comparing analyze in development history, present situation and competitive advantages of equipment manufacturing industry between Hebei province and other regions. The analysis focus on the present situation and structure of equipment manufacturing industry development in Hebei province, and expound its advantages and problems that existing during its development, and strive to find out the weak links of the equipment manufacturing industry in the development. The combine method of empirical analysis and normative analysis means to integrate previous related theories based on the full collection of research literature at home and abroad. Then this paper will make corresponding mechanism analysis about the content of discusses. As a breakthrough, adjusting export structure, it is based on Hebei province export goals in equipment manufacturing industry. From the reality of the equipment manufacturing industry in our province, puts forward to the suitable export structure adjustment measures of development.Influenced by European debt crisis in the future, the export situation of equipment manufacturing products in our province will be made certain effects. Equipment manufacturing enterprises should adjust the export strategy actively and sharply to improve the respond ability of international markets. Both domestic and international markets have opportunities and challenges. So our province should stand the test, improve export levels and adjust consciously export structures in based on the industry development in order to create new growth point of economic development in our province. |
