Study On The Development Of Apple Industry In Zhidan County Of Shaanxi Province

Apple is a regional leading industry in Zhidan county of Shaanxi Province.The superior local environment creates the great quality of local mountain apples which are big,crisp,colorful,sweet,long-storage and pollution free.After several years continually construction,the scale of Zhidan apple industry in Zhidan country has been initially formed and the apple industry has also become the pillar and characteristic industry of Zhidan county in terms of agriculture and rural economy development.However,several problems were also existed in development of apple industry,such as poor resistance to natural disasters,low level of scale management,slow popularizes in standardization technology,slow development in processing and marketing,lack of public service system and insufficient matching facilities.Therefore,in-depth research and analysis of the apple industry development in Zhidan county have a great promotion and significance to its apple industry.After fully understanding the apple industry development situation in China and abroad by massively collecting the related literatures and documents,Based on SWOT analysis,the problems existing in development of Zhidan county apple industry were analyzed and the internal and external environment of the apple industry were also assessed.The result indicates that the local apple industry has advantage in technology and climate,as well as good support from government.However,the weakness of Zhidan apple industry is poor basic conditions,poor technical qualities of peasant and the lack of publicity lagging development of apple,also suffer from high frequent of natural disasters,the competition threat,labor shortages and rising prices.Finally,based on the market demand,aiming at the problems existing in the development of industry,in this study,several suggestions related to development of Zhidan county apple industry were given.The suggestions are as follow.Firstly,strengthening the government's role in the development of the apple industry.Secondly,strengthening the standardized production and accelerating the industrialization of apple.Thirdly,strengthening the construction of an industrial service system and actively promoting the development of apple's industrialization.Fourthly,strengthening the construction of a natural disaster defense system and improving its ability to withstand risks.Fifthly,a typical drive to establish a high-quality apple demonstration garden.Sixthly,the variety structure of products should be adjusted and the scales channels should be broadened.Seventhly,the facilities of orchards should be optimized in order to improve the production condition.Eighthly,the post-mining industry should be improved to promote the value of the fruit.Ninthly,the construction of organic fertilizer source should be strengthened to support the production of pollution-free and organic apples.
