As the speed of economy vastly increased and traffic facility significantly improved,the total number of vehicle in Chengdu keeps rising.Until the end of 2016,Chengdu ranked second in China as the total number of vehicle reached 4.06 million.This certainly pulls the development of petrol industry in selling petroleum products,and petrol station has drawn great attention for its marketing and management methods by society because it is the main site to sell gasoline.In routine managing in a petrol station,the staff scheduling is in fact directly influenced by daily sales volume,automation degree,sales structure,quantity of draw the petrol gun,distribution of sales volume and in-site congestion level,etc.In order to improve competitiveness and management structure for the firm,concentrating on promoting a precise and rational staff scheduling method would definitely increase the efficiency of workforce and satisfaction for both employees and customers.However,most petroleum product firms nowadays had not concerned about this issue laid above and still using extensive operation to manage their firms,which caused a lot of executive problems.This research used all the Petrol stations of Petrochina Sichuan marketing company within belt freeway in Chengdu as the object of study,and confirmed the researching method based on sufficient literature review.The author then walked in all 29 petrol stations,and analyzed the merit and draw back of existing staff scheduling method,summarized its main problem and discussed the necessity and feasibility of optimization design by the methods of investigating company's data,in-site observation,inquiry and in-depth interview with staff.Further,by using the Delphi Method,chronometrical and in-site investigation,the author aiming at the existing staff scheduling analyzing its influence factors and collected all these factors from practical operation in 29 Petrol stations.The factors,which would affect shift working such as in daily sales volume,distribution,sales structure(diesel/gasoline),quantity of draw the petrol gun in unit time,in-site congestion level and automation degree.According to the factors collected and these relevant data could obtain a precise and rational staff scheduling by applying formulas of Delicacy management,which is utilized for a series of methods of optimize service procedure,confirm number of people in scheduling,optimize position statement and finally formulate crew scheduling.It is a huge improvement from previous design that purely used sales volume as the main index.Moreover,after assessed the research data and made prediction,there were a select of 4 typical petrol stations to apply in practice,and the achievement in Staff position optimization,efficiency increasing and labour cost control successful pass the muster.The author suggested that this research might provide a theoretical direction of petrol station's staff scheduling system for domestic petroleum product firms and the reference for relevant industries.
