The Evolution Analysis On The Space-time Differences Of Tourism Economy In ASEAN

The tourism industry has a huge radiation effect,and the development of tourism market integration will promote the integration of International(regional)service industry chain,so as to enhance the regional competitiveness in the global industrial chain.The current level of ASEAN belongs to the lower level of free trade area.One of the obstacles is the direction of the 10 member countries of ASEAN tourism development level is uneven,the gap is very obvious,so how to reduce the gap between ASEAN member countries is now an urgent need to solve the problem.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the temporal and spatial differences in the development of ASEAN tourism economy,to better realize the regional integration development and tourism cooperation of outside area,to enhance the community consciousness and perfect the theory of global regional tourism geography.This study uses the standard deviation,Theil index,nich index and Gini coefficient to calculate the development of tourism economy of ASEAN and independent countries in the 2003-2013,and from the island countries and non-island countries angle to carry on the decomposition to the ASEAN tourism economic variation.Then,it discusses the mechanism of ASEAN tourism economy in the context of Asia-Pacific economy and the new situation of global economic development.The results show that the growth rate of the world's four major marine tourist hot spots showed “M”-shaped trend,and the regional growth of ASEAN is obvious,which is gradually narrowing the gap with the Mediterranean region;The overall difference of tourism income is still large,in addition,the absolute and relative difference is obvious,and the trend is not entirely consistent;Within-regional and between-regional of island countries and non-island countries was significant difference,and have different development trends;Non-island and island countries of the regional differences in the “W/M” type of corresponding development trend,non-island countries within the regional differences in the overall higher than the island countries.Non-island states show a significant core-the characteristics of the edge of the spatial structure system,the stronger the tourism economy into the stronger,the weaker“Matthew effect”;Spatial distribution imbalance,showing a clear differentiation pattern of “island countries and non-island countries”;The tourism development level of ASEAN countries is uneven,but it is consistent with the development speed;The spatial distribution of tourists tends to be balanced,while the agglomeration degree of non-island countries is less than island countries;The overall development situation is better,more and more balanced development of tourism economy;On this basis,analysis of factors influencing on the economic development of ASEAN from the tourism investment,consumption,international environment,tourism policy,tourism resources endowment,geographical location,tourism traffic,and proposes relevant suggestions.Throughout the development of tourism in ASEAN countries,the differences in tourism time and space vary greatly and the development is better.The tourism industry is the pillar industry of most countries.Chinese tourists are also the main tourists of most countries.The vigorous development of ASEAN tourism has a reference to China.
