Research On The Innovation Efficiency Of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry Of Jilin Province

The pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is a special industry in the national economy,which is related to the health of people,the stability of society and the development of economy.It is recognized high-tech industry with intensive knowledge,technology and capital.China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry started relatively lately but developed rapidly.The average annual growth rate has been maintained at double digits and at the forefront of the whole categories of manufacturing industry all the time.On February 14,2016,Premier Li Keqiang proposed the pharmaceutical industry was related to public health in the State Council executive meeting.He said there was a huge market demand of medicine and the government should support the development of Chinese medicine actively and promote the innovation and upgrading of the pharmaceutical industry comprehensively.This shows that the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry as the core of the pharmaceutical industry has been pushed to the cusp of China’s innovation.Jilin Province is located in the northeastern region of China.Its pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is very special.The assets of the enterprises which produce Chinese medicine accounts for nearly 70% of the assets of all of the enterprises.In this paper,through the comparison and research of data it shows that although the scale of Jilin’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry has been large,the level of knowledge and technology is not high and the development model is still resource-dependent.Based on the latest research on the theory of innovation and the measurement method of innovation efficiency,this paper makes an estimate of the innovation efficiency of Jilin’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.The result shows that there is increasing tendency of the innovation efficiency of Jilin ’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry which has reached the comparatively high level among the 21 regions of China in the recent years.But it is mainly from Sech.Although Pech has been improved,it is still far behind the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry developed areas,such as Shandong Province or Jiangsu Province,etc.In this paper,a representative case study of Shandong Province and Sichuan Province is carried out,and many influencing factors of Jilin’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry are tested.Eventually,the conclusion is drawn.Cultivating innovative culture and strengthening innovation intensity of pharmaceutical enterprises is the fundamental driving force to enhance the innovation efficiency of Jilin’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.Only if the government were trying to stimulat the creative vitality of pharmaceutical companies,Jilin’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry would embark on the road of innovation and upgrading as soon as possible.On this basis,this paper combines the characteristics of the development of Jilin’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry,putting forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
