Since the implementation of reform and opening policy,China has witnessed ever-increasing development in its politics,economy and culture.With the higher educational level among Chinese citizen,the labor relationship changed dramatically,and some new situations arose.The formerly unified labor relationship featuring planning economy with has transformed into one with varied types and market-oriented economy characteristics.China has steadily implemented reasonable and effective labor law system.Labor relations related to the system,laws and regulations,policies keep improving,workers keep improving the degree of education,comprehensive quality keep increasing,the legal awareness also will be more and more strong but the number of conflict and legal case related to labor relationship is increasing.Consequently,it is imperative and urgent to build harmonious labor relationship,respect the labor,defend the labor’s dignity,create sense of belonging,motivate the work of the staff enthusiasm and creativity,avoid and reduce labor dispute,cast a positive image of employer,improve the competitive advantage,enhance the sustainable development,and pursue "win-win" between employer and labor.Nowadays,many large enterprises keep giving the management of labor relationship a greater role in business operation.Their knowledge,understanding and implementation on the law,regulations and policies related to labor relationship are improving,and thus,the risk of conflict is ever diminishing,and the labor relationship becomes more harmonious.However,mostof the small and medium-sized enterprises,due to its scale,weak financial status,poor management,lack attention on managing labor relationship and relevant internal regulations,they are facing various challenges in the knowledge,understanding and compliance with the law and regulations.The DJ analyzed in this article is a typical mid-small sized e-commerce with various problems in its labor relationship management.This article gives a brief overview on the basic principles of labor relationship management,introduces theory of labor relationsdomestic and abroad,analyzes comprehensively on the strengths of labor relationship management at DJ,the lack of full-fledged payroll system,the vague daily paying method,the arbitrate position change,non-standardchanges and terminate labor contract,the illegal payment of social security fund,the immature labor disputehandling way.Based on the advanced and well-recognized management ideas advocated by Management school,and from the perspective of establishing and improving the policies and regulations in companywide,in accordance to the labor law and regulations,building harmonious labor relations,the analysis is conducted with document analysis method and case study method.On the basis of human resource management,we propose ancomprehensive optimized solution covering employee career development and relevant salary package,reasonable daily payment calculation method,effective position change,standard management on labor contract and social security payment,the proper handling of labor dispute,the formation of harmonious labor relationship,aiming at preventing and reducing labor dispute and arbitration,improving the management level.Also,we hope other enterprises with similar challenges can benefit from this analysis by identifying their potential risks on labor relationship,improving management,preventing labor dispute and conflict from happening and reducing in numbers,facilitating sustainable development.
