Researches On Growth Efficiency In Commercial Circulation Along The Provinces And Regions Of “the Belt And The Road”

With economic progress and industrial structure evolution,the commercial circulation,as a significant part in social reproduction,plays an increasingly prominent role in national economy and social development.When it was still at preliminary stage,our nation has formulated measures to promote the development of the commercial circulation.Up until now,the rapid development of the market economy has made commercial circulation a leading and fundamental industry in national economy.Although remarkable achievement has been made by commercial circulation,there are still problems like small scale,lag in technology and insufficient innovative ability.Inside of the commercial circulation,problems such as backward managerial techniques,low output efficiency,weak operation capacity.Efficiency is the inexhaustible power for economic development.The research of economic theory shows that production factors will make an ever lower contributions to output efficiency with gradual growth of the economy and advancement of the science and technology.Therefore,only by enhancing the output efficiency of factors input and cultivating the potential development can the industrial competitiveness be better improved.Based upon these considerations,this thesis,by combining relative theory of modern economics and empirical analysis under the frame of input and output efficiency research,has an in-depth analysis of the input and output efficiency problems of the commercial circulation along the provinces and regions of One Belt and One Road.First up,the author elaborates the relative economic theory and circulation theory,and conduct researches on the DEA approaches,which lays a solid foundation of the theoretical basis and methods.Then from the current development of commercial circulation alongside provinces and regions of the Belt and the Road,the author analyzes the overall conditions such as changes of scale and structures in commercial circulation.Though commercial circulation has made considerable development,problems such as unreasonable input of the factors,low efficiency in resources utilization,inefficient technology,weak whole competitiveness still exist in the industry.On this basis,the author resorts to DEA analytical method,calculates the technical efficiency of commercial circulation along provinces and regions of the Belt and the Road and analyzes the changes of the total factor productivity in commercial circulation from the dynamic perspective.The result shows that there is huge potential in growth efficiency of commercial circulation while great imbalance on efficiency in different regions.Then from the aspects of human capital,regional economic development,industrial structure,the degree of opening up and government’s intervention to the economy,the author explores the influential factors which result in the efficiency change in commercial circulation.Last but not least,based upon the analysis and the current practice of commercial circulation development,the author provides with the coping strategies which are increasing human capital input,improving technical innovative capacity,opening wider to the outside world,deepening reform of circulation system,promoting the coordinated development of the regions,etc.
