Study On The Influence Factors Of The Competitiveness Of Our Country's International Engineering Contractors

In recent years,globalization has been speeding up,driving the international contracting market enter a rapid and sustained prosperity stage,especially the implementation of the strategy of “ B&R” will bring more development opportunities for Chinese enterprises oriented to foreign contracting.“The Top 225/250 Contractors” listed on the ENR(Engineering News Record)magazine of the United States in August every year has been regarded as the international project contracting industry authority.It has become the important reference basis of evaluation of international Engineering contractor power.From its ranking in recent years,Chinese contractors has realized a contrarian growth,constantly hit new highs under the whole weak background of industry in the international market,more and more enterprises appear into the list,however,the leading contractors from China in the international market has been always lacked.The reason is the general contractor's competitiveness is not strong,so how to improve its competitiveness has become the core issue of the contractor's survival and development of our country for those who want to be a member or has being a member of the international market competition.Generally,the researches on the competitiveness of the China's international project contracting enterprises are carried out from the following three aspects: the first is to explore the key factors deciding the competitiveness of the international contractors;the second is to study what can be used to measure the strength of the competitiveness of the international engineering contractors,namely the establishment of evaluation index system;the third is to explore what kind of research method can more accurately estimate the competitiveness of the contractors.Among them,the first is the core,the second is the key and the third is the pathway.So the paper thesis locates the research emphasis in the first and the second aspects,to provide firmly bedding for researches on evaluation of the competitiveness of the international engineering contractors.Firstly,under the condition of the researches on the basis theories of competitiveness and competitiveness of enterprises,the article draws a preliminary target system of international engineering contractor's competitiveness in China based on the outcomes of the past scholars,making a summary of them.The target system includes three dimensionalities: engineering management ability,technology innovation ability and market expansion ability.Secondly,based on the built target system,the article builds the factors system influencing the competitiveness of engineering contractors of China after briefly exploration,mainly constituted thirteen factors,namely,the safety management level,the risk management ability,the input rate of research and development,the rate of technical equipment,the occupation rate of international market and so on.At last,the article chooses to adopt the structural equation model which has more advantages in all statistical analysis methods through the comparison and analysis on the advantages and disadvantages of the existing research methods(like analytic hierarchy process,neural net).what's more,it combines with SPSS19.0 to process and analyze the data gathered from for annual reports of all company samples selected by the article and the calendars ENR has list every year,namely the data defection procession,reliability testing of the datum and the exploration analysis,to guarantee the datum of the factors are complete and useable.Then it builds a basic model of the competitiveness of China's international project contracting enterprises by the AMOS17.02,the empirical results show that the overall degree order of the influence the latent variables have on the international project contracting enterprise competitiveness is project management ability > technology innovation > market development ability.At the same time,according to the path coefficient in the structural equation model,the degrees of the indirect effect the observation indices have on the contract enterprise competitiveness are different.Among them,the index of safety management level and information degree,procurement staff professional ability,the percentage of professional staff and the R&d investment proportion are larger relatively,respectively are 0.874,0.810,0.912,0.835,0.87.Although the degree of other index are smaller,they are above 0.5,so they are should not be overlooked.At last,on the basis of the development condition of the international contractors of China in the third paragraph of the article,the article puts forward the corresponding countermeasures in response to the deficiency existing in the development of our country contractors such as the market location is extreme and the like.What's more,according to the outcomes that how and how much the intensity the factors influence the competitiveness of the contractors of the empirical analysis in the fifth paragraph,in order to further improve their competitiveness in the international market,the author gives some reference suggestions.
