Study On Urbanization And Food Production Security Of Central China Based On Grey Correlation Analysis

As a major grain producing areas,Central China is an important guarantee of food security in China.Except being responsible for ensuring food security in our country,Central China also shoulders the mission of speeding up the development of urbanization,which is an important engine to promote the rise of the central region.However,the rapid advance of urbanization in central China caused great pressure to food production.Arable land decrease,agricultural labor transfer and other factors,such as water shortages will further limit grain production.Therefore,how to coordinate the central region of grain production and urbanization construction,is a matter of the stability and the rapid development in Central China,also the overall stability and development in our country.In this paper,from the perspective of food production security,by building the central region of urbanization and food production security evaluation index system,also by using the grey correlation analysis model,we analyze the the relevant data on provincial,city region in Central China from 2000 to 2014.The results show that:(1)The correlation degree between urbanization and food production security is higher in Central China,and the coupling of two systems is from 0.5336 in 2000 to 0.7062 in 2014.Population urbanization subsystem and food production security has the highest correlation,0.7391,the minimum correlation of economic urbanization subsystem is 0.6697,and the middle correlation of land urbanization subsystem is 0.7233.(2)Based on urbanization and food production safety static spatial difference of grey correlation analysis.From the perspective of province,population,land urbanization static spatial correlation is more obvious,economy urbanization correlation static space difference is not obvious.From the perspective of city,the correlation of population urbanizationshows that the correlation of northeast and southwest part on the space is higher,and correlation of middle region is lower;the correlation of economy urbanization has no obvious change rule in relational spatial difference;the correlation of land urbanization presents higher correlation degree in line of Henan province to Hunan province,and lower correlation degree in the northern and south-eastern region.(3)Based on urbanization and food production safety dynamic spatial difference of grey correlation analysis,the correlation degree of population,economy,land urbanization dynamic space differences are more obvious.From the perspective of province,the correlation of population urbanization shows a increasing trend;the correlation degree of economy urbanization at the early stage of the research mounts a lot,but increases a little in the late study;in aspect of Land urbanization,the correlation increases a little at the early stage of the research,but mounts a lot in late study.From the perspective of city,the correlation of population urbanization is not obviously intensive at the early stage of the research,but shows obvious trends in the late study;the correlation of economy urbanization turns stable dispersion,into a higher correlation to the central;the correlation degree of land urbanization shows the trend,which is dispersive to intensive.In view of the current urbanization and food production security situation,we put forward relevant policy Suggestions in the process of urbanization in Central China.
