An Empirical Research On The Income Status And Consumption Behavior Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers

The new generation of migrant workers is different from the migrant workers,is an important group of the structural reform of supply-side,but also is an group which the reform policy needs to focus on and improves,The necessary condition for achieving results is to solve the problem of them.Income is their fundamental in the city to settle down,it is to narrow their income gap between urban residents and important issues,study their income status and influencing factors have great significance.At the same time,as a present strong potential consumer groups,their consumer behavior has been the concern of the community.Analysis of their consumer behavior on the one hand to help the government to better enhance and guide their consumption,promote economic and social harmony and rapid development,on the other hand to strengthen the consumption of enterprises,enterprises can more effectively develop migrant workers this huge potential consumption market.This is an empirical study on the new generation of migrant workers' income and consumer behavior,based on the survey of Gree Industrial Park in Zhengzhou City of Henan Province,by using qualitative research and quantitative research.This paper mainly divided into four parts: the first part is based on the data and empirical data,Using the simple description to analyze the income level of the new generation of migrant workers and compare with the national and Henan urban workers,while using OLS and quantile regression to analyze the reasons that affected their income level and internal differences.The second part analyzes the consumption behavior of the survey object,This paper mainly analyzes the consumption level,consumption pattern,consumption concept and consumption structure of the new generation of migrant workers,at the same time,paper summarizes the problems and influencing factors of their consumption behavior.The third part studies the changes of the income and consumption of the new generation of migrant workers by using the gray relational analysis of one of the gray relational theories.The fourth part puts forward the measures to increase the income and guide the scientific consumption of the new generation of migrant workers.This paper concludes that:(1)new generation of migrant workers in Gree industrial park the characteristics of younger age,high academic qualifications and high unmarried proportion,They have rich working experience,tendency to local employment and desire to entering the city.The income of the new generation of migrant workers is generally low,and there are still some gaps in the urban workers.(2)Their consumption level is between urbanand rural residents,consumer demand is reduced,consumption patterns more and more diversified,consumption concept of urbanization.(3)The following problems exist in their consumption behavior: development and enjoyment of the lack of consumption,neglect of long-term development,the development of consumer demand;lack of planning etc.(4)the consumption expenditure of survival is highly correlated with the income of the new generation of migrant workers.The consumption expenditure satisfying the social demand has a strong dependence on the income;Migrant workers in the development of urban security needs of the minimum consumption and income associated with the lowest.Therefore,games,such as improving employment quality and income level,strengthening the supply of consumption systems and creating a good consumption environment,strengthening consumer education and guidance etc,should be taken in order to optimize their consumer behavior and expand their consumption.The innovation of this paper is as follows:(1)new generation of migrant workers in Gree industrial park the characteristics of younger age,high academic qualifications and high unmarried proportion;The income of the new generation of migrant workers is generally low,and there are still some gaps in the urban workers.(2)In the research content,many aspects of the research on the income or consumption of the new generation of migrant workers,and the survey area is mainly in the eastern developed areas,and the research in the central and western regions is relatively scarce.According to the questionnaire,this paper analyzes the relationship between the income and consumption of the new generation of migrant workers.
