Evaluation Study On The Economical And Intensive Use Of Regional Construction Land In Nanchang City

This paper,based on the theory of regional economics and geographic information system,studies all the construction land in each region and county within Nanchang through quantitative and qualitative evaluation to gain a comprehensive picture that reflects the economical and intensive utilization of land in Nanchang and regions under its jurisdiction.In qualitative evaluation,this paper first analyzes the land use structure and dynamic change characteristics of Nanchang through 2012 to 2015;then by selecting population development and economic development related metrics,it measures their matching with changes in construction land uses respectively and identifies the types of land use trends.In quantitative evaluation,by selecting utilization intensity index,growth consumption index,elasticity index,management performance index,based on the actual survey data,this thesis obtains a total index and sub-indexes for all the counties in Nanchang,through which the land utilization state is differentiated..With focus on the analysis of evaluation results,it concludes with the characteristics of construction land use,and suggests countermeasures suitable for the reality of Nanchang.This study shows,in recent years the actual growth of construction land is much faster than planning in Nanchang,and urban industrial and mining land per capita does not achieve its objective for economical and intensive utilization and is likely to grow.Given the matching between population growth and changes in construction land uses in urban and rural areas,Nanchang has shown a tendency towards extensive land use as a whole;given the matching between economic growth and changes in construction land uses,Nanchang has generally displayed a tendency towards intensive land use.In qualitative evaluation,a moderate level of intensive use is seen for Nanchang on the whole,while the level of intensive use gradually decreases along ways from the city center and suburbs to counties and a trend of extensive land expansion can be seen.Based on the evaluation results,this paper suggests mechanisms linking people and land as well as policies for redevelopment of inefficient urban land and giving planning and governance full play with a view to increasing the economical and intensive utilization of construction land in Nanchang.
