Internationally,the tourism industry is recognized to be one of the effective ways to narrow the regional difference,however,tourism has developed rapidly in China,under the big background of inbound tourism development,unbalance characteristics become more and more significant.In this article,through access to municipal state statistical yearbook of Hubei province,Hubei province tourism statistics,the inbound tourism income and the number of inbound travelers statistics from 2005 to 2014 in Hubei province and its 17 state were collected.Using Theil coefficient,relative rate of development,and the Boston matrix method,analyzed the spatial and temporal evolution of inbound tourism development of Hubei province regional differences,and to make a preliminary discussion on influence factors.Finally,put forward the corresponding opinions and Suggestions in enhancing the whole level of inbound tourism development and promoting coordinated development of regional inbound tourism of Hubei province.The study found that:1.Seen from the point of time evolution,from 2005 to 2014(1)No matter from the number of inbound tourism and inbound tourism foreign exchange earnings,the overall difference of inbound tourism in hubei province is larger,and the increase is in volatility,the absolute difference was greater than the relative differences.(2)Difference of the East,middle,western Hubei area has been the main contribution of the regional difference of inbound tourism in Hubei province,especially the difference in the east region is the main contributor of the intercity differences.2.Seen from space evolution(1)Inbound tourism economy of Hubei province’s Gini coefficient is high,The inbound tourism difference scale is very big,concentration degree is strong and not balanced.(2)The gap between development rate of inbound tourism in developed regions and underdeveloped regions in Hubei province is expanding rapidly,the trend of polarization is very serious.(3)The space level of Inbound tourism development is very obvious.The difference between developed area,less developed area(such as Wuhan,Yichang,Enshi)and backward area represented by Huanggang is huge.the absolute core status of Wuhan city is strengthening.(4)The difference of Inbound tourism development in Hubei province competitive space is very significant.The star market includes Wuhan,Enshi;Yichang is the only bull market,it is stable and mature market.Young children market mainly includes Shiyan,Xiangyang,Xianning,Huanggang,Suizhou,Jingmen;Ezhou,Jingzhou,Xiaogan,Shennongjia,Xiantao,Tianmen,Qianjiang,Huang Shi are for thin dog market,their development status and prospects are not optimistic.The main factors causing the regional difference of inbound tourism in Hubei province are economy,tourism resource endowment,regional traffic,policy environment.In view of the status of the regional inbound tourism,give overall optimization strategy and promotion strategy of the key cities.Overall promotion strategy:strengthening the radiating and driving play of central cities,integrating tourism resources to formate the differences of tourism product system,government guiding and innovativing investment and financing way,improving the basic service system,to speed up the tourism standardization construction,implement the strategy of culture,creating deep experience.Key cities promotion strategy is to strengthen the radiating and driving play of Wuhan city;By pushing the product building,marketing and other aspects of Yichang,Shiyan which have high quality tourism resources,we can enhance their inbound tourism development and enhance their competitiveness.
