Tourism has become the most dynamic new industry in our national economy.With the sustained and rapid development of China's economy and the improvement of the income level of residents,in recent years,the number of tourists and tourism revenue in China has been growing at an average annual growth rate of more than two digits.China has entered the stage of rapid development of population aging.To facing the challenge of the population aging,as a style to promote the old the physical and mental health,population aging industry is have great developing opportunities,the elderly tourism will be a great potential for development of the industry.However,in the actual tourism activities,tourism products in the elderly but it is still difficult to fully meet the needs of the elderly elderly tourists,tourism product problems of limited quantity,quality is not high,the homogenization of serious competition,lack of brand,to the depth of the development of tourism products in the elderly.This study selected Xiangtan city as a sample,an empirical analysis based on the consumption behavior of elderly tourists,focusing on the innovation of tourism products in the elderly,both are of great significance to the study on the elderly elderly tourism theory and tourism industry development.On the one hand,this paper is rich in the study of the theory of the elderly tourism,the current research on the elderly tourism product system is relatively small,the development of tourism products for the elderly and other innovative research is almost No.This paper expands the extension of the elderly tourism,so that the study of the elderly tourism is more comprehensive and scientific.This study is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is introduction.This article first discusses the background and significance of this paper,then the progress of related research and analysis of consumer behavior and the elderly tourism,finally explain the ideas,research contents,research methods and innovations.The second chapter is the overview of domestic and foreign research and related basic theory.First of all,this paper summarizes the domestic and foreign research results of tourism consumer behavior,tourism products,and old age tourism.Secondly,this paper defines the related concepts of the elderly tourists,tourism consumption behavior,the elderly tourism products and so on.In the end,the author elaborates the basic theory of consumer behavior theory,the theory of tourism related to the elderly,the theory of tourism product innovation,and the theory of gerontology.The third chapter is about the development of the elderly tourism in China.This chapter mainly analyzes the current situation of the development of the elderly tourism in our country,the problems existing in the elderly tourism products and the prospect and trend of the elderly tourism development.The fourth chapter is the investigation and empirical analysis of consumer behavior in XiangTan city.This chapter is the key part of this paper.In this study,we take Xiangtan as a sample,take the elderly tourists as the research object,and carry on the questionnaire survey to the old people's consumption behavior,and analyzing the the results of questionnaires from decision behavior before the trip,purchasing behavior in the process of the trip,evaluation behavior after trip.The fifth chapter is based on the characteristics of consumer behavior of the elderly tourism product innovation strategy.The content of this chapter is the logical extension of the previous four chapters,focus on the development of comfortable and economic elderly tourism product,develop high-end elderly tourism product,improve the quality of elderly tourism service,innovation of elderly tourism marketing mode,improve the safety insurance of elderly tourism etc..The sixth chapter is the conclusion and prospect.
