With the aging of the population into the society, the elderly tourist market of the tourism market has become an important part of a huge market potential. At present.China's booming tourism market of older, but old age is unsatisfactory design of tourism products.In this study, a "sunset red" for the study tour, tourism consumption behavior for the elderly study, the purpose of acts of summed up the characteristics of old-age tourism and tourism psychology,designed to raise the level of tourism products in the elderly.In this study,through questionnaires and interviews in two ways to participate in the northeastern region of the "sunset red" Travel the special train to carry out a study of older tourists, a total of 662 valid questionnaires were received, interviews with 25 elderly tourists.Through questionnaires and interviews with content analysis, to draw the following conclusions:1. The elderly has a strong ability to travel and Out rate is high.Behavior in tourism, they like to participate in multi-team, family members,friends and colleagues travel together; in the purchase, the purchase of more tourism products through travel agents.Most of the elderly in low-level tourism consumption, mainly through savings,the sons and daughters-funded pension funds access to tourism.Source of information for the elderly tourist Followed by elderly friends , their own experience and travel agents, tourism advertising.2. Tourism leading the elderly the main motives for health,pleasure and nostalgia, a secondary motivation for the main dreams,escape,contacts,and other aesthetic. Out the factors hindering the elderly are mainly economic conditions,physical condition,family burden,the tourism industry.3. Elderly tourists on a "sunset red" of the overall tourism product belongs to a higher level of satisfaction.In particular, In the tourism process,the elderly tourists on food, housing has not paid much attention ,to the scenic spots, shopping for the importance attached to the middle of traffic, more emphasis on guided tours.Satisfaction from the individual point of view, elderly visitors for meals,shopping and guided tours of the middle-satisfaction Accommodation, transport and tours quite satisfactory; elderly tourists will not travel in the show are not satisfied with the basic.4. Needs of older tourists with its own characteristics.In the main dining area is light food palatability, affordable;Accommodation to the health, comfort, quiet, careful and thoughtful service;Most of the elderly are more appropriate to think that travel by train;Preference for the elderly tourists in the famous natural scenic spots and cultural monuments, man-made landscape of a certain bias;Mainly elderly tourists to buy local products, they generally prefer to buy snacks with local characteristics, as well as those high-profile, has a long history of products and health products;Elderly tourists like to enjoy themselves, the general does not require special arrangements for recreational activitiesIn response to these characteristics, this study was to develop tourism products for the elderly to make recommendations, promote experience-based tourism product design concepts, scientific and reasonable development of old-age tourism products and tourism products in the aspects of the constituent elements of system design, optimization of old-age tourism products.
