The new generation employees has now become the core strength of enterprise development,occupies an increasingly important position in the workplace,and plays an irreplaceable role.The innovation ability and innovation level of the new generation employees are not only the important embodiment of organizational innovation ability,but also the key factor to measure the enterprise development potential.Scholars and entrepreneurs are all concerned with the research on developing the innovative ability of the new generation employees,to promote innovative behavior,and improve innovative performance.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the innovation performance of the new generation employees.The different growth environment and educational background make the new generation employees show diversified features which is more distinctive in the work.On the one hand,the new generation employees seek for the liberation of individuality,longing for justice and freedom.On the other hand,as the only child,the new generation employees received too much care from family,and is lacking of independence.The leadership has a direct impact on the new generation employees naturally after entering the workplace.Due to the diversity of leadership style,different leadership styles for the new generation employees' innovation will naturally differ.Transactional leadership is concerned about fairness,while transformational leadership focuses on the encouragement.The two leadership styles are very consistent with the new generation employees for the pursuit of fair and eager to rely.At the same time,the attitude of the new generation employees for the organization and work will also affect the role of leadership style on the innovation.Thus,the influence of leadership style on the new generation employees is the main focus,while the perceived insider status used to describe the organization loyalty and the psychological detachment used to reflect the balance between work and life,and furtherly tap the dual moderating effect.Empirical research methods are adopted in this study,and the questionnaires are sent to employees born after 1980 and 314 valid questionnaires were recovered.Through using software SPSS20.0 and Lisrel8.70,reliability test,validity test,regression analysis and moderative effect analysis are conducted.The main conclusions are as follows.Transactional leadership and transformational leadership both have a significant positive impact on innovation performance of the new generation employees and the effect of the transactional leadership is stronger.Perceived insider status plays the significant moderative role on the impact of transactional leadership and transformational leadership on the innovation performance of the new generation employees.Psychological detachment moderates the influence of transformational leadership on the innovation performance of the new generation employees,but is not significant in the relationship between transactional leadership and new generation employees' innovation.So in management practice,entrepreneurs should promote the transactional leadership positively,accept and embrace the characteristics of the new generation employees,establish a series of rules and regulations for reward and punishment,while allowing the existence of personalized style to keep the new generation employees' innovative enthusiasm and vitality,and to enhance the development of new innovation performance.
