With the continuous development of China's construction industry,the construction market increasingly fierce competition.For construction enterprises,the competition between enterprises is not only technological innovation and product quality,but also the cost of products.Under the condition of satisfying the quality of products,how to reduce the cost will be the long-term strategy of most enterprises.All along,the cost management of our country has the characteristics of extensive management and low efficiency.Through the investigation of the problems existing in the cost management,this paper analyzes the main causes of the cost problems and puts forward the corresponding solutions.This will improve the core competitiveness of enterprises,and bring more economic and social benefits for the construction enterprises.Based on the complex system of project,the article takes Hengda Jiangwan project as an example,and uses direct observation method,literature research method and case study method to study project cost management.First of all,the construction cost of the project is analyzed.Secondly,the investigation and Analysis on the causes of the cost overruns,analysis of construction project level diagram model,will cause factors,organizational factors,procurement schedule factors,quality factors,risk factors and factors such as the contract six majority of internal causes division of project cost problem.Then,the paper analyzes the social and business environment of the project which has indirect impact on the project cost.Finally,the paper puts forward five suggestions to improve the internal influence factors of project cost,and puts forward the following three suggestions to improve the external environmental factors.
