With the continuous development of the network, networked collaborative manufacturing attracts the attention of different countries around the world. China’s shipbuilding industry is currently in a downturn period, it is difficult to develop with the traditional way of scale expansion. In the case of insufficient external demand, improving the production capacity of China’s shipbuilding industry by changing the supply structure and improving the efficiency of industrial resource allocation from the supply side becomes a new direction of reform and transformation in shipbuilding industry. Networked collaborative manufacturing brings new opportunities for the improvement of shipbuilding production capacity in China. At present, there are few researches about China’s shipbuilding production capacity. And the research on China’s shipbuilding production capacity under networked collaborative manufacturing perspective is hard to find.Based on the above background, this paper focuses on China’s shipbuilding production capacity and analyzes the formation mechanism of China’s shipbuilding production capacity under networked collaborative manufacturing perspective. The effect of promotion which networked collaborative manufacturing brings for China’s shipbuilding production capacity is also analyzed in this paper. Firstly, centering on the networked collaborative manufacturing,the concept of networked collaborative manufacturing is given considering the concept of network and collaborative manufacturing. The connotation and characteristics of networked collaborative manufacturing is analyzed afterwards. Based on the network mechanism,the mechanism of networked collaborative manufacturing is studied. Secondly, centering on the shipbuilding production capacity, this paper analyzes the concept, the connotation, and the influencing factors of shipbuilding production capacity. The present situation and existing problems of China’s shipbuilding production capacity are pointed out. Thirdly,on the basis of networked collaborative manufacturing mechanism and China’s shipbuilding production capacity situation,the influence of networked collaborative manufacturing on China’s shipbuilding production capacity is given. The formation mechanism of China’s shipbuilding production capacity under networked collaborative manufacturing perspective is also given and compared with the formation mechanism under traditional manufacturing perspective.Finally, this paper discusses the effect of networked collaborative manufacturing on the promotion of China’s shipbuilding production capacity from a quantitative point of view. In the case of networked collaborative manufacturing for ship blocks, the model of task assignment in block construction to maximize the production capacity is proposed, and particle swarm optimization algorithm is used for the solution. With the comparison of calculation results under the networked collaborative manufacturing and the traditional manufacturing perspective, the promotion effect of networked collaborative manufacturing on China’s shipbuilding production capacity is clarified.Through the research on China’s shipbuilding production capacity under networked collaborative manufacturing perspective, this paper theoretically pointed out the influence on shipbuilding and production capacity which is brought by networked collaborative manufacturing and proved the active role of networked collaborative manufacturing in improving the shipbuilding production capacity in China. Based on the above, a new way to improve China’s shipbuilding production capacity is provided.
