Research On Cooperation-competition Between Mobile Virtual Network Operators And Telecom Operators

By the end of 2014,MIIT issued mobile communication resale business licenses for 42 companies,including channels,large retailers,IT companies,and Internet giants.Since then,the private capital entered the field of telecommunications officially.But today,much of the virtual operators are not as good as we desire,they faced a lot of problems,such as financial loss.At the same time,the network utilizations of traditional telecom operators are still insufficient.What causes this situation?This article thinks the cooperation-competition relationship between the both affect the development of the telecommunications industry.By studying the relevant literature,this article sums up three operating methods of MVNO,then it analyzes the development status and problems of domestic and foreign MVNO,which provide a basis for next research.Based on Evolutionary Game Theory,this study establishes a cooperation-competition game model between MVNO and traditional MNO,then it solves the Nash equilibrium in this model,which analyzed the trends of telecommunications.At last,this study put forward reasonable proposals for MVNO and MNO,and provides theoretical supports for a all-winning game by combining theory with reality.
