Research On The Path Of Vocational Education's Promoting Industrial Development In Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture

Vocational education is the most directly and closely related to economy and society,which plays a significant role in satisfying industrial development's demands on skillful talents.Generally speaking,the better the vocational education in one area is,the more developed the regional industry is.Thus,vocational education is also one key element that facilitates the industrial development in a closely-grouped extremely poverty-stricken area,in which,however,vocational education does not undertake the mission of talent cultivation.At present,the vocational education in a closely-grouped extremely poverty-stricken area still focuses on fostering “labor output type” talents without considering too much the demands of local industrial development.In order to explore into the relationship between industrial development of a closely-grouped extremely poverty-stricken area and advancement of vocational education,the paper chooses the typical closely-grouped extremely poverty-stricken area – Xiangxi autonomous prefecture,Hunan as example,and analyzes the reasonable path of vocational education's promoting industrial development in Xiangxi autonomous prefecture for the purpose of providing references for other similar closely-grouped extremely poverty-stricken areas to make use of vocational education to serve local industrial development,and finally realize the ultimate goal of “getting rid of poverty” in such areas.In order to design the path of vocational education's promoting the industrial development in Xiangxi autonomous prefecture,the author adopts path analysis method,i.e.,in-depth field investigation and interview,and conducts a 25-day survey in Xiangxi autonomous prefecture for three times successively.The author has visited 5 governmental departments,10 enterprises and 5 vocational schools,interviewed 50 students,10 teachers,5leaders in charge of vocational education at each level in the vocational school as well as 15 personnel in enterprises.By means of data sorting and processing,the research is more vivid,figurative and scientific.According to theoretical and practical analysis,the author thinks that the path of vocational education's promoting the industrial development in Xiangxi autonomous prefecture includes three paths: 1)Firstly:enhance the awareness of vocational education indriving local industrial development;2)Secondly:construct industrial development-oriented“1+3+7” talent cultivation mode in vocational education;3)Thirdly:cross-county and cross-city cooperative school-running,reasonably arrange vocational schools.At the meanwhile,the paper proposes some suggestions from four angles,respectively government,vocational school,enterprise and students to ensure the smooth execution of the path.
