With the increasing competition,more and more enterprises focus on the use of performance appraisal to improve operations and improve efficiency.At the same time,in recent years,the state advocates the transformation of accounting functions,that is,from the "accounting function" to "management function",and performance appraisal as an "management function" is an important part of the enterprise to enhance the value of an important means of enterprise development transformation Important basis,determines the quality of accounting function transformation.Key performance indicators(KPIs)are particularly common and effective in a number of performance appraisal methods.Security industry has flourished at home since 1990 s,and has become a unique emerging industry.But because of the shorter development time,and their special business type,there are many problems when security companies conduct the performance assessment.In view of the research background,research significance,this paper expounds related concepts and theoretical basis of the performance assessment and KPI.Then taking the medium-sized enterprises in the Security Industry-S company as an example,the performance evaluation system based on KPI of S company is optimized following the idea of finding problems,analyzing problems,and solving problems.The strategic goal realization of S company is regarded as the ultimate goal.Firstly,the theory of strategic map is used to plan the strategic goal of S company on the basis of four dimensions of finance,customers,internal business process,and learning and growth,and the result is combined with driving factors by describing the strategic focus,to further formulate the enterprise-level KPI.Then the multi-level decomposition is conducted on the enterprise-level KPI to design the complete department-level KPI and staff-level KPI,and each indicator weight is designed later.Finally,the implementation point and result application of performance assessment in S company are proposed,and the safeguard measures of optimizing the performance assessment system are strengthened according to the actual situation of S company,in order to implement the performance assessment system better and faster,and to make it play an important role.Through the optimization of performance evaluation system of S company,the ultimate goal is to improve the performance of the appraise and the whole team,to realize the strategic goals of S company,to improve the company’s market competitiveness and to achieve the sustainable development of the enterprise.In the meantime,the performance evaluation of S company is designed in the paper combined with the characteristics of the security industry and engineering industry.The theory of part of project management is combined with performance management theory and human resources management theory,to form the interdisciplinary theory crossing,and to promote the localization of performance assessment,which is expected to provide reference for similar small and medium-sized enterprises.
