The Empirical Study On The Influencing Factors Of China' Copyright Trade,Based On The Gravity Model

With the deepening of the economic globalization and the rapid development of the knowledge economy,cultural trade is playing a more and more important role in the international economic and trade pattern.In this paper,we review the copyright trade data of China from 2003 to 2015,and find the following conclusions: the copyright trade in China has developed a lot,the whole part of the trade grows rapidly,the trade deficit has narrowed gradually,the trade products and markets are being diversified,the networking pace of copyright trade is speeding up.However,there are still some problems such as large trade deficits,the lack of emphasis on copyrights except books,over-centralized domestic exporting area,etc.And there is still a gap between China and other developed countries.In this paper,with the aid of trade gravity model as a powerful tool,and based on China's copyright trade data of 2003-2015,we carry empirical analysis on the influencing factors of China's copyright trade.We point out that China's GDP,per capita GDP,cultural distance and geographic distance with the trade partner,the institution level and other factors may affect China's copyright trade in different extent,both on the import and export part.It is worth noting that cultural distance of China and other country has a positive impact on our copyright trade both in the import and export part,which is contrary to the expected.Based on the theory and empirical analysis above,this paper put forward the following suggestions for China's copyright trade,government departments should strengthen the support to copyright industry,enhance the competitiveness of industry,strengthen copyright protection,and improve the copyright consciousness;industry should establish industry association to share resources,and widen copyright trade channels;enterprises should innovate the development mode,and improve the talent training mechanism.
