Evaluation On Comprehensive Carrying Capacity Of Guantian Urban Agglomeration

In the era of economic globalization and information globalization. the geographical costraints o f urban development are gradually being broken, it has beco me a rrmainstream regional developmenrt trend that contiguous cities connection with each other driving the development of regional econony. With the development of Urban Agglomeration, however, the consequent problem such as environmental destruction,shortage of natural resources, confusion of urban management andd unbalanced industrial structure causes the overloading of urban agglomerations' comprehensive carrying capacity has been seriously hindered the healthy development of the urban agglomeration. With the rapid rise of Guanzhong and Tianshui from economic areas of China, Guntian Urbarn Agglomeration has become an important carrier for the economic development of the western region at present and in the future. Under this background, study on comprehensive carrrying capacity of Guntian Urban Agglomeration and find the problem in it has a great significance to promote the social and economic healthy development of Guntian Urban Agglomeration and even the whole western region.This paper firstly summarized the related concepts, theoretical basis and domestic and international research literature about carrying capacity, analysised the Comprehensive carrying capacity founodation of Guntian Urban Agglomeration. On this basis, taken the actual situartion of Guntian Urban Agglomeration into consideration, this paper established an evaleation index system of comprehensive carrying capacity of Guntian Urban Agglomeration from LUrban hardware elements,software elements and comlinatien of soft and harrd eapacnts.Secondly this paper evaluated the comprehensive carrying capacity of Guntian Urban Agglomeration from subsystem and whole level by using the state space model. By analyzing, the author found that: on the subsystem level,the carrying capacity of all the three subsystems of Gantian urban agglonmeration is overloaded. The carrying capacity of infrastructure,opening and industry were short pliates of these three subsystems. The hardware and software system carrying capacity of all cities in the urban agglomeration was overloaded, in the aspect of combination of soft and hard system carrying capacity,Xi'an and Yangling are the only two load cities in the urban agglomeration. On the whole level , Xi'an is the only load city in the aspect of comprehensive carrying capacity in the Guantian urban agglomeration, The overall comprehensive carrying capacity of Guantian urban agglomeration is overloaded. The software system carrying capacity is the short board of the comprehensive carrying capacity of the urban agglomeration. Cities in Guantian urban agglomerations can be divided into four types according to the severity of the overloading of comprehensive carrying capacity. Xi'an, Tianshui and Baoji are the first type,belonging to the load and lightly overloaded areas, Xianyang, Shangluo and Weinan are the second type, belonging to moderately overloaded areas, Yangling is the third type, belonging to heavily overloaded areas, Tongchuan is the fourth type, belonging to very heavy overloaded areas. At last, according to the evaluation results and problems of comprehensive carrying capacity of Guntian Urban Agglomeration, this thesis gives four suggestions about improving the comprehensive carrying capacity of Guntian Urban Agglomeration.
