Research On Influencing Factors Of Team Trust In IPD Project

In the traditional project delivery model,each project perform its own duties and transfer risks to others.The proprietor have higher standards for the project.Therefore,the project delivery model need to be changed.With the appearing of Integrated Project Delivery(IPD)model,the problem has been effectively solved.The IPD project team includes proprietor,designer,and construction team,etc.By identifying the objective of project and engaging in open communication,all participates could have an active participation in the conceptual stage and could reduce the probability of project change.It could gather the needs of different parties and reduce the barriers for construction of later stage.During the process of the IPD implementation,when all the stakeholders establish the cooperative relation,share the information resources and the risk,and distribute profit reasonably,the project can be completed and the profit can be maximized.This paper analyzed the differences of IPD team and the traditional project team and built the trust influential index system and trust dimension of the IPD project team based on relevant literature and expert interviews.The trust influential index system can be divided into the peculiarity of the team,the interaction of the team,and the structure of the team.The trust dimension includes cognitive trust,emotional trust,and institutional factors.Based on the above research results,the hypothesis was put forward to build the trust influential index system of the IPD project team.At last,the data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed under the structural equation model.The interrelation of those factors was analyzed and the assumptions of the model were verified.The IPD project team trust mechanism was established and the relevantmeasures were proposed based on the system theory.This paper discussed the trust influential factors of IPD project team and established the trust mechanism of IPD project team and provided relevant theoretical and practical value for its application in China.
