| EPC general contracting model has gradually become the mainstream mode of international engineering contractors,more and more engineering contractors in our country begin to develop in the field of EPC general contract,the general contractor usually set up their own organization and management mechanism to ensure the successful completion of the EPC project.The construction of the EPC model has the characteristics of large scale of investment,difficulty in management,and high technical requirements,which makes the traditional work mode of the top leadership has changed,from the traditional leader of the top leaders of the decision-making gradually turn to the management team.The theoretical research on the top management team(TMT)is still in the perfecting stage at home and abroad,but the research on performance improvement of top management team in EPC project is a frontier problem of top management team research,no matter in theory and in practice is in an immature stage.Therefore,the top management team in EPC project performance improvement research has profound and significant theoretical and practical significance.This study extracted the influencing factors of the TMT performance of China’s EPC projects based on the relevant literature at home and abroad,combined with the actual situation of China’s EPC project.By the way of questionnaire,this paper makes a factor analysis of the related data affecting the TMT performance of EPC project,and obtains six key common factors: TMT heterogeneity,TMT excitation,TMT leadership,TMT conflict,TMT coherence and TMT communicate,which are identified as the six latent variables that affect the performance of the top management team of EPC project.The structural equation model of influencing factors of TMT performance in EPC project is established,which is fitted and estimated,revised,and interpreted through AMOS software.The empirical analysis and test are carried out through the structural equation model analysis method,and finally determine the influencing factors model of TMT performance in EPC project.Finally,the conclusions of this study are as follows: from the perspective of effect,TMT heterogeneity,TMT excitation,TMT leadership,TMT conflict,TMT coherence and TMT communicate have a significant positive impact on the TMT performance of EPC projects;from the perspective of influence degree,The overall impact of each factor on the TMT performance of EPC project is from large to small order: TMT heterogeneity,TMT communicate,TMT conflict,TMT leadership,TMT coherence and TMT excitation.Finally,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to improve the TMT performance of EPC project according to the determination of affecting factors. |
